Considering an M7 bayonet for an AR15 build. Anybody know much about these? Seems like there's either Ontario Knife Co. or Chinese knock-offs to choose from. This handle style is most preferred.

EDIT: Further research suggests Military Surplus being the way to go.

Here's my new Streamlight TLR-6 on my Shield. Actual happier with it than I thought I was going to be. For 100 lumens, it's pretty bright. Laser seemed to come sighted in around 7 yds right out of the box for the most part. Basically weighs nothing, and took all of 5 mins to install, 2 of which were trying to figure out which of the 6 housings it came with were for the shield. One thing I was a little worried about was the button placement, as I have big hands and was worried it would be in an awkward to reach spot for me. But it's actually exactly where I'd want it to be. If you have small hands though, it might not be ideal.

I had an old remora holster for a Glock 23 that fit it perfectly snug. It also came with the housing to fit my Glock 27, going to try that this weekend as well.

I'm looking at getting a Remington 783 in .308. I don't have a .308 in my safe yet, and I found one for a good price. It looks like it would be an ideal hunting rifle. After my Savage Axis developed an ejecting issue I've been less than excited taking it out into the woods.

Gun show weekend. Didn't find the AK-74 I was looking for. Instead picked up another Romanian AK pistol for under $500 and an IWI Jericho 9mm for $300. I didn't need either of them.

I make myself feel better by realizing I didn't buy a $1300 Kimber Raptor, 3k rds of ammo, and some other misc shit like the guy I went there with did......

I want to hit the gun show next time it comes through here and look at 9mms.

I like my Glock 23 so I am sure I would like the 19 but am open to suggestions. Admittedly want a Sig for my collection but those are fairly pricey.

I hope Leupold let's me get a CDS for this gun for free. I know when you buy a compatible scope you can get the first one free... wonder if that counts if I bought it already mounted on a gun.

It seems so weird. I know guys that worked WITH snipers and are still friends with them and learned to long range shoot from them in essentially crash courses but don't know any personally, wish I did then I could ask them.

FUCK, my VX-2 does not qualify for a CDS as it's a capped model. DAMN YOU WEATHERBY! Not really that mad but the CDS concept is so fucking cool and easy to use...

Leupold told me I could remove the scope from the rifle and send it to them to mount a CDS on it.... Fark.
