I really want to get a hunting pack for next season, looking at the Tenzing brand because of my price range. Still not entirely sure what I want out of a pack, right now, at my skill level and because Saskatchewan is all private land, I don't hunt more than a few kilometres from my truck and I won't be packing out quarters over harsh terrain.
I'm gravitating towards something like this, so I can keep the weight down, yet have the essentials on my person:

Which seems like it would be handy come rifle season.
I bought a Badlands Superday last year for my Wyoming trip. It's more expensive than what you posted but I love mine. It even has a little holster for carrying.
