I was also going to suggest to you that you use some of that $$$ to do a guided hunt, you'll learn a ton of stuff then you would be more ready to head out on your own with the new knowledge set.

Likely Guangzhou and Hong Kong. AS for guided hunts, I will be hunting this fall (if I draw anything, lol) with more experienced officers. I didn't spend enough time doing stuff like that last season, I won't make that mistake again.

So, I have EVERYTHING but my optic, iron sight set (KINDA want some Knights Armament ones), upper receiver.... and my goddamn barrel and gas block

I would spring for a Noveske one but a lot of them come with those bullshit Noveske switchblocks that are pinned to the barrels and don't fit under most free float handguards.


Don't I have to like permanently pin the muzzle device to a 14.5 incher to avoid needing a SBR stamp?

Yes. Deals on Wilson Combat shit are hard to come by and don't last long cause they sell quick.

I have my lower, trigger, and barrel, IE, the most important parts outside of the BCG on the way so I will stop for now.

I'll probably at least duracote the barrel. I've read even though it's stainless the fluting on the business end of stainless barrels will sometimes rust as they heat up more and attract moisture more. Everything else is staying that "evil military" black though.

Addendum, draw results (except for Pronghorn) have been posted, I got skunked. White tail over-the-counter tags are generally available to Canadian residents, but the season lasted like 2 weeks last year. Archery mule deer is generally offered, over-the-counter, to Saskatchewan residents. Looks like I'll be attempting to bowhunt again.

I'll be allocating some of that to some more hunting gear, really want this FirstLite Phantom Leafy Suit Top:

Dvor has a few Elftmann triggers for $249-269, however they give you a $70-75 store credit. They have AR15 and AR10 triggers

I find when bowhunting, footwear is a serious considererion.

Now in not hit on artificial blind hunting, I always sort of built a ahitty ghetto half log cabin the. Sort of chilled for awhile until i heard a noise....

Thanks, but I'm good on triggers. Just picked up that LaRue MBT, need to still get the Franklin binary installed, and put down a deposit on the Fostech binary trigger. Plus I got a couple spare RRA 2-stage.

Most of my shit is First Lite. Kinda ashamed to admit it, but I'm attracted to that specific 3D top because it matches.
