I will be either buying another or borrowing a bipod off another gun. I wanted to check out the magpul mlok one in person as well.

I have not but I've read good/interesting things. Slightly delayed unlocking, smoother recoil impulse and smoother lock up with less bolt bounce. We'll see. A lot of people seem to like them on AR10's. Between a suppressor, 15" gas tube, full mass jp and that hydraulic buffer I'm really hoping for a very smooth system.

Report back on the buffer. I hate fuckin' springs. The JP captured and the knock-off of it are so much better.

Will do. The thing that intrigued me is the hydraulic nature that lets you cheat a bit in the sense that it will act like an even heavier buffer going back(without increasing gas) but lighter buffer going forward but with less bolt bounce.
 
Probably a recurve is my next purchase for deer hunting.
My moose season got royally fucked by a washout of the roads and the natives being stupid in my area, doubtful i'll be hunting moose again also thanks to new regulations for the area.
 
Been trying to find a Holosun 510c in like the $275 range. They keep popping up on various sites (been tracking on Reddit), but then sell out within an hour or 2.

7.62 is cheaper than American freedom seeds. Got that going for ya lol
 
So this may have been a dumb decision, with Remington going bankrupt and all, but I just ordered a V3 for clay shooting and potentially hunting in the future.

Maintenance looks fairly simple, Rem chokes are cheap and abundant and I'm already used to shooting an 870, so it seems like a natural transition. Here's hoping it's not a dud, otherwise I'm probably shit-out-of-luck.
 
anyone interested in a holosun 3x magnifier? Perfect condition, box and everything included.
