Switch is #1 followed by a mini-PC I use to run Batocera for emulation. I have the latter setup for dual boot so I can play on Fightcade or a few fun little games on Steam. I have a PS4 also that I occasionally play.

PC is the GOAT and it's not even close.

I play a ton of games on emulators too, so it's basically every console up to PS3 on my pc in addition to the pc games.

Pc. Outside of a parent buying a console for their child since its unlikely to break. Dont understand why any young adult or adult still plays on console.

PC unless PS5 has better controller support, like with Doom 3. They're both hooked up to the TV so it usually comes down to frame rate and loading times.

PS5 is a really cool machine though. Always impressed whenever I use it. I'm not sure it even needs a pro version.

Switch and PC, both have their benefits. Have no interest in PS or X-Box, more so now that many exclusives for both are on PC.

i play my shooters on PC cause im actually good at them so things like framerate and latency make a difference. for sports and racing games, its PS5. also, mouse and keyboard.

i havent figured out where to play golf yet. i started on PC... its smooth and fast and all, then EA added it to their +play,, so i downloaded it for PS5, but i havent tried it yet. im a little miffed that my save data is cross platform. madden was the same way... had to start with bad stats from when i was learning the game.

I only have an Xbox which is great but damn if I ain't jealous of all the games I can't play on it.

I have 19 years on xbox live and I'm done with them. They have stupid woke idiots running the company closing tango and never making any good exclusives anymore. Dumbest console names ever as well.

Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbox One
Xbox One X
Xbox Series S/X

I would get a Nintendo but I heard how they just closed down that rom site which I would understand but you can't even buy the old NES and SNES games from Nintendo. So they're dumb too.

I'll probably just play all of my old games and start reading more books in my free time. I also spend a significant amount of time on sherdog crying about my first world problems.

Same

I do have a very powerful PC but playing on the couch on PS5 is a great way to unwind..

I think that comfort is quite underrated in discussions like these. I mean yeah, if you're going to play an intense shooter then by all means, sitting at a workstation in a gaming chair, hunched over the table and staring non-stop at a monitor is great, but a game like Stardew Valley? Perfect for the iPad whilst chilling in bed...

What I miss most about gaming on PC is being able to use codes. I think that caps in games are pretty shit, so I'm playing Cyberpunk with a level 50 character with 20 on Strength, Technical Ability and Intelligence, and I think to myself "Wish I could have all options available to me".

My coworker built his own gaming PC and says he hasn't touched his Ps or Xbox since. He keeps trying to convince me to do the same but I just can't justify it. I just don't have the time. I may buy a Playstation though. I was always a PS guy since Ps1 but my ps4 died during Covid lockdowns and all I could get my hands on was a Series S so now I have everything on Xbox.

Well idk if you can remove level caps on Cyberpunk, but generally on PC you can download trainers or mods for all the cheats you want. Along with adding tons of other stuff to the game. I'm wrapping up my first vanilla Cyberpunk game currently, but one day I'll return with a ton of mods installed. I'll be adding BMW's and shit to the game

Edit:

Remove Level Cap:

I got that Aurora Trainer shit as well though you gotta pay for it

I never used it on Cyberpunk but you can modify anything

My Dad is like that. He has always had powerhouses for PCs and keeps trying to get me to spend money on them.

I'd like to, but I don't have the space right now, and I'd rather throw my money on other things, so I bought the base model Xboxes and a Chromebook instead.

Maybe when my flat purchase goes through and I have a spare room, I'll set up a workstation with a good rig.

Looks really good.

Honestly, I was never big into mods, aside from the odd survival mod for Skyrim. I just like the idea of everything being open to me once I reach a certain point in the game.

XBL is light years better than PSN and Game Pass is a better value than anything Sony has, so I prefer it. At the end of the day, it just comes down to the games.
