Television What's the most overrated TV Shows?

Yeah I prefer watching friends than the boring The Wire and the lame Sopranos. Although to each their own I'd say.

At first I didn't get what all the fuss about Seinfeld was, but later grew to like it and much later think ,that while it was a good show, it is somewhat overrated.

Watched a bit of the That 70s Show, did not get the appeal.

I just don't see the appeal of the vast majority of shows on TV. Never got the appeal of Fraser.

That's your opinion even if you called it objective. It's still a personal opinion. This is not mathematics or exact science. People like whatever they like in terms of art.

I'm not one to say your wrong because you don't like a specific TV show or movie or painting. These things are all subjective imo.

You can like what you like, but me taking a shit on a canvas will always be objectively worse than a van Gogh.

When the qualities of a work of art are close then what's better will be more subjective.

Create a list of the qualities of a good show and Friends would, probably even to you, lose on everything but being enjoyable to watch.

I don't know if that's true. Some may say it's better anything that Van Gogh has done. I'm sure there are people out there who think Van Gogh paintings is shit. That's why I say to each their own.

Also quality of work of art is inherently subjective.

It's like Shawshank Redemption could be loved by many people, but there are some who hate it and prefer Twilight. So it varies depending on the person.

They'd be wrong, even though my shits are exquisite.

If you're only basing quality on what you enjoy more.

I like some trash movies, but I can't say DOOM is better than Shawshank Redemption just because I like it more ( I don't ), when I know SR has the better acting, story-telling, plot, directing, etc.
