I'll agree, I loved peacemaker and have rewatched it. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. Unfortunately it's the only show on this poll I watched so I'm not voting

You can vote it. It's ok if you haven't watched any of the other ones.

That ship has sailed with Sheridan's cowboy crap. My optimism for the Four 6's is dying fast. Yellowstone was good the first season or two. It had great characters, and casting is always on point. 1883 and 1923 were slow. Worth watching once, but I doubt I ever sit down through that again.
Agree 100%. I had hopes after the first few episodes of S1 1923 but then the creeping along began. And don't even get me started on S2. Hell, I could've gotten through Ellis Island for real faster than poor Alex did on screen.

I struggled to make it through to the end of Yellowstone so 1883 was off the table. I'll watch the penguin, I've heard good things. Is lasso a good show to watch with the wife?
There may not have been a more perfect show to watch with the wife in the history of television.

I feel like I’m missing something good. I’ve only watched one of these shows.

I liked Queens Gambit. ATJ was great in it an ot took me by surprise as I didn't see it for a while after it came out . Wife finally badgers me enough I relented and watched an LOVED IT. Great story and I got rookie at best chess experience.

Everyone loves last of us but I'm just not not into the zombie stuff so I never watched. Maybe I might if really bored one night.

I wouldn't call it a zombie show. A plague show of sorts maybe. A post-apocalyptic show for sure.

Mighty fine selection of cinematic artwork there.

Went with Queens Gambit.

I will have to watch 1883 soon. That one and the Peacemaker I had not seen. QG, Lasso, Last Of Us, and Penguin I know very well. Probably seen them all twice at this point, most of the episodes at least.

Queens Gambit hits on multiple levels for me.
Beautiful music and cinematography. Gripping story with real depth of characters and character development.
Unreal cultural impact. The same way we spoke of the "TUF boom" or the "Conor era" or Brock/Ronda waves, the Queens Gambit really blew up the chess community and brought waves of new fans and players to the online chess community as well as tournaments and whatnot.

Also really skyrocketed Anya Taylor Joy to her meteoric rise I to one of the biggest faces and names in both acting and modeling. She is a super duper superstar. Mad Max, Dune 2, The Menu, The Gorge, Last Night In Soho, Peaky Blinders, The Witch, Glass, Split.... quite a resume for that younger actress.

Colin Farell and Cristina Milioti and that kid who played Vic were all great in Peguin. Looking forward to the Last Of Us Pt 2/new seaso

I voted for it. I would have been shocked to consider it great before I watched it though.

It just gives you everything that you expect from it and then a whole bunch of other things you didn't think you'll see or feel when watching it. Other shows do this occasionally but Peacemaker does it almost constantly.
Interesting.

May have to watch that too then.

Gotta say John Cena has really impressed me with his comedic acting. Thought he crushed it in Ricky Stanicky and did a good job carrying that weird ass murder lotto movie with awkwafina (God that name is retarded so much it hurts)

Never heard of Peacemaker so guessing he is constantly the butt of jokes and shit on for being a lame fake wanna be super hero? If so, that seems like a great role for him. That was Ricky stanicky, and he plays the bullied underdog very well.

Now you have my attention.

People do turn into things but to me it's not the most important part at all. It's the fungal plague, society and what people become.

That's part of it. Also, Robert Patrick plays his white supremacist father, so he's got lots of baggage. The team around him are a bunch of fucking weirdos too.
