Ayrton Senna was current World Driver's Champion and when he died in a racing crash in 1994. He was like the Conor McGregor of racing in terms of popularity and national enthusiasm.

Senna was known to have a balls to the wall driving style criticized by other drivers as too dangerous like he believed he was invincible. In 1994, Senna overran a high speed corner trying to defend 1ST place from a better car and collided head first into a concrete wall at 300 km per hour.

Thats whos flag and theme music Werdum was coming out to. And he went out attacking kinda like Senna.

It makes unbelievably sad cause its like the most bizarre coincidence ever and Im a huge fan of both. Sad night for me and all of Brazil considering all they're going through. It makes me think something bad is gonna happen at the Olympics later this year

What the hell is wrong with you TS?!?

Ayrton Senna was the biggest and best paid athlete in the world during his reign. Even Michael Jordan was second to him in regards to world wide fame.

Michael Jordan is probably the second most popular athlete of all time after Muhammad Ali

It's a fact that Senna was the most well paid athlete during his reign, which was early Jordan career. Senna died in 1994. Jordan was at his peak during the 96-97 stint. Atleast in popularity.

Senna was the biggest athlete star during his 88-94 stint.

Jordan was huge, but Senna was bigger world wide. His death entered Times 10 most shocking moments caught on live TV. Maradona was all druggy at that time. F-1 biggest audiences was during his era also.

I was never into formula 1 or motor sports, but "Senna" is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Highly recommended.

STFU OP.
