What ya cooking for Thanksgiving?

Turkey Meatloaf.. saves a lot of hassle, tastes awesome, and is solid as a leftover. Stuffing, mac’n cheese so far for sides.. more will be added but I’m not 100% sure what

Only thing I’m actually making is queso mashed potatoes. Outside of that I’m bringing some awesome pies that I did not bake and the booze.

roast turkey, smothered chicken, Mac and cheese, greens, dressing, rice, dinner rolls, catfish, deviled eggs, sweet potato pie

I am not making a damn thing but my mom sisters, and nieces will be. Shout out to them

Im already dieting to be in the best shape possible for a month in Asia in January.

I often used Turkey for meal prep.
But im fasting from 5pm to 11am the next day everyday of the week.
I'm on a similar regimen for a similar reason, trying to close up the window of fasting even longer, but the next two days, I'm gonna be screwed

Ribeye roast.

I usually consume a whole 20-24 pound turkey a month, so I have to change things up that day to celebrate.

Best tasting turkey you will eat
I accept that challenge as i have had many deep fried turkeys, which are fantastic but the best tasting turkey i have ever tasted, by far was...

Made by two guys who ran an outdoor special events catering company and had created their own rotisserie smoker/roaster from a used storage tank.

They took a whole hog, stuffed that hog with 3 turkeys and those 3 turkeys were stuffed with 3 deboned ducks.

OMG, was the meat from all 3 great, but especially the turkeys which were marinated inside and out, with the melting fats from the pig and duck.

Sounds incredible. We inject etc but that really does sound good

Sorry, @Cajun I accidentally hit send before I could finish.

I did a Bourdain recipe for Cornish hens a couple of weeks ago with pork sausage and chicken liver stuffing...I just need to defrost it and put some sage and chestnuts in before I bake it. I've bought a crown rather than a full turkey, and have already made the bacon for pigs in blankets and it takes no time to make chipolatas. Normal beef dripping roast potatoes, parnsips and carrots and a banging turkey Marsala gravy.

But yeah, most of the work has been done for that already. I'll make a chicken liver pate a few days before for the evening.

Husband did a pine nut, sage onion and apricot stuffed and rolled Porchetta a couple of years ago which was the best Porchetta I've ever tasted.
