the bigger story is the legal system, how can you force someone to pay for a child that is not theirs?

How old are we talking about here? If I raised the child thinking he/she was my own, I'm not just gonna be able to stop caring about the kid. The mother is a different story. If we could work something out, and I'd know the money would go towards the child's care / tuition / etc, I'd be fine with it. Court ordered child support though? I never wanna be involved in that bs unfair process.
