What knife did you carry today?

Agreed. In my state it is legal to carry fixed baldes if one has a concealed carry permit but in my neighboring state 10 mins away, I have to remember to leave the fixed balde at home before crossing over because while my handguns are legal, I could get arrested for the knife. Silly laws.
 
I'm looking for a good folder for EDC in the $50 range.

I lost all faith in Kershaw when I bought one and noticed it was made in China. I thought it was a fake so I did some research and sure enough. Kershaws (at least some) are now made in China. And the one I have is VERY POOR quality (the catch does not catch).
I guess what I am saying is 'buyer beware'.
EDIT: I noticed in the Amazon pictures it has MADE IN THE USA on it. Maybe they learned their lesson.

My Kershaw is made in the USA. It is a quality knife and has held up very well for over a year of use at work. If they do make knives in China, I'd stay away from those specific lines. I know some knife companies like Spyderco and such now have some lines that are made in China.
 
I picked up the Recon I, love this knife. Heftier than I expected but I like the weight of it.
 
Any of you guys check out tha all black tenacious yet?
 
I've been carrying an oldie, but goodie. From my first deployment the benchmade automatic.

This is the thinner version of another one I have. Great blades to say the least.

I did the newer bayonets though. With the wire cutter, saw and blade. It's a damn shame we can't use them though. By use I mean affix them to the rifle. We have them in the arms room, but we never issue them out.
 
That benchmade definitely looks like something that has seen a war zone.
