They also make the 916 version with a totally blunt tip which allows for light prying.

And keep in mind that they come in different colours, coated/uncoated, serrated/plain edged etc.

I'm carrying the Kershaw Cryo G10 today. It's pretty much my go to. Lots of folks repping Kershaw. I love that.

I got the blackwashed Cryo 2 as a secret santa gift at work. Thing is a damn tank compared to the Tenacious I've been carrying around for the last like 4 years. I want to get a Blur next.

You won't be disappointed with a Blur. I have one with a partially serrated tanto blade. It's my standard back packing knife.
I actually found it when I was cleaning an old lady's yard for her. It had been run over by a lawn mower and had probably been there for a year or more.
The blade was useless, but the mechanism still worked and the body (though beat up) was solid. I took it home, cleaned it up, and sent it in to Kershaw for a new blade. They replaced the blade for $5 and replaced the pocket clip for free. Awesome customer service.

Kershaw Skyline. Simple. Classic. Flawless.
Spyderco Native 5 light weight. Super solid lock up, high end steel, ffg.

Just ordered a Cold Steel Recon 1 with a clip point and plain edge.
