What in your opinion is the 3 best games of 2024?

I'm bummed I never got the chance to place Space Marine II this year. It just wasn't in the cards for me. I also didn't get much Helldivers II in.

But good news is, I'm turning my office into my game room so I'll have a much better area to play.

That said, my GOTY is Black Myth Wukong.

1. Black Myth
2. Stellar Blade
3. Prince of Persia

Stellar Blade
Helldivers II
Elden Ring : Shadow Of The Erdtree

Normally i wouldn't pick a DLC but i haven't played anything else released this year that was better than average.

Pretty sure Astro Bot is the only game that came out this year i played. No other game peaked my interest enough to pay full price for. I got Stellar Blade a while ago on sale but I haven't finished it yet. I definitely wouldn't put it above Astro Bot even when i do finish it tho. The gameplay is great but the story is terrible. It's Nier Automata at home.

Astro Bot
Helldivers 2
3rd is tough, really enjoyed Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8

Honorable mention to Prince of Persia and Legacy of Kain Remaster which came out of nowhere and ended up being solid. I missed out on alot of newer games due to my backlog of Cyberpunk and Elden Ring.

Kind of a weak year but I would put it as

Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
Black Myth
Stalker 2 (despite some major jugs)

For me and anything recent was Shadow of the Erdtree, as I also got to do another ER run with it, good times.

Rogue Trader should be considered a 2024 game as it didn't feel complete until patch 1.2 and the first DLC, what a ride.

I played Phantom Liberty in the new year essentially, along with the base game again.

For another legit 2024 release I played, gotta give it to Silent Hill 2. I'm not done it yet, but it is freaking stellar.

I'll be getting Space Marine 2 and likely Helldivers 2 around Xmas, as I always get Steam cards. They may slip in.

1. Astro Bot 2. Silent Hill 2 Remake 3. Stellar Blade. After that probably rebirth and price of Persia lost crown

Thursday night i finished the campaign. With your list of games youll actually enjoy it. Its post-campaign content is a similar co-op concept of Helldivers 2.

To me i found it mediocre. Thats because i dont really enjoy third person view combat games that have counter, dodge and ability delay mechanics.

Cool, thanks. I think I would really enjoy it as well since I prefer 3rd person RPGs in general. I can do FP, but I just like to see my character.

Plus, I'm a huge huge fan of the lore. I listen to more 40K Lore before bed than I do anything else.

The Secret Level episode was amazingly good if you haven't seen it yet.
