What happens if they make an interim title fight and Conor's opponent misses weight?

I was under the impression that if a champion misses weight he basically losses the title "on the scale" and its only a title fight for the challenger.

Yeah that's possible too. That's what happened to Brandon Halsey in Bellator. However, in WEC Sonnen vs Filho went the other way, where the champ Filho missed weight and it became a non title fight for both.

There's no precedent in the UFC for this so we don't really know what the UFC would do. Although I presume they would strip on the scale.
