Conor was throwing too hard though when they were up. Conor had very good TDD too, until he got worn out. That pressure is real though, very hard to deal with but there are answers to the equation. If anyone can figure them out its Conor. The fight definitely would not go the same way every time considering they now know what the other feels like in the cage. The 2nd fight will be a better fight. Glad Conor got knocked off his pedestal but now Khabib is acting arrogant, its his turn. No matter if its Conor or someone else he will eventually get figured out and beat. Unless he gets out early.Khabib had him on the ground in the first few seconds of the fight. You can’t really conserve energy with Khabib on top of you or else you’ll get finished. Conor barely had anything left to start the second round. By the third round, he had nothing. None of his punches had any power and Khabib could stand with him with no consequence.
Khabib fights smart and the fight goes the same way every time. The only chance Conor would have would be to get Khabib to stand with him round one - see the Alvarez fight.
