What does it say about Khabib that the guy who just tied Anderson is his life-long rag doll?

I think islam is more even with khabib than he lets on. I wouldn't be surprised if he let khabib win the lion's share of their sparring sessions just to keep the peace. Khabib seems quite overbearing with the team as the coach and pushes them pretty hard which makes them the best. Can he do that if islam was tossing him around in practice? How would others see him after he gets owned by islam?

Never out shine the master. In this case the master's son.

He lets Khabib win in sparring? lol You understand this is the best team in MMA and iron sharpens iron right? These excuses are laughable at this point. These guys aren't there to play patty cake.

During Khabibs 8 year tenure with the UFC, Donald Cerrone stepped foot in the octagon 31 times (that's 2 more fights than Khabibs entire career)

He was absolutely great. But his strength of schedule is so fucking bad and his accomplishments in the cage have already been overshadowed by Islam
Look at Khabib’s Wikipedia of actual planned fights vs what he ended up doing and tell me he stays undefeated if his career panned out that way.

And that’s without even discussing all the other great LWs that were around then he somehow never fought.

In other words with only 13 UFC fights, he still holds one of the longest ufc winstreaks ever (tied with gsp)

Also had the most round per round statistical dominance/highest official scorecard dominance round per round and most 10-8 rounds ever during his 13 fight UFC run (round per round, statisitcally, factually better than Jon)

Thanks for the reminder

Yeah, but he lost the 3rd to Conor 😬

Khabib was a unique fighter that showed a new level of tenacity and brutality. His grappling skills were great, but he really wanted to break people in there in a way no one else even considered. Maybe because he grew up poor… like poor poor, not American poor… it clearly meant a lot more to him than his opponents.

Islam is good technically, but he doesn’t have the same viciousness that khabib has. Dude fought like a soldier.

Yes while fighting mostly non top 5 or even top 10 fighters. I love khabib but we got robbed bc he really just started fighting top competition around the barbosa fight. He really needed like 5-7 more fights to be in any goat sort of talks

What are you talking about look at the fighters calling him the GOAT or one of the GOAT's.

It's time to accept reality. Sherdog needs to get over it. Not only is he a GOAT candidate but he's statistically the dominant fighter, round per round in UFC history.

29-0 never scratched for a reason.

Who were all these great LW's that you speak of ?

Was he just supposed to fight everybody regardless of ranking just to get a pass from your personal ruleset?
No of course not, because you one of the sooks banging on about Islam fighting Poirer ,who wasnt the number one contender at the time .
You wouldn't want to look like a complete hypocrite now, Im sure.

So what you really meant when you said 'all the other other great LWs that were around then he somehow never fought.' you meant those deserved of a title contention ...oh and preferably with a wrestling pedigree as well I would assume.(?)

So who are they then?
Please list them.
