Is a backstory really needed?

Khamzat has been a Twitter warrior for the last 3 years or so. He talks a big game but doesn't fight much.

That alone is sufficient for Alex to have that opinion if he wants.

-------
Khamzat called out Alex as I recall, and short ish notice for Alex who I think had just fought at 85 with his big cut so Alex said sure, I'll fight you at 205.. (if you want me to fight in short notice after a big weight cut)

After that if Khamzat didn't actually want to fight he should have kept his mouth shut. Or negotiated, asked for 195 or something.

Khamzat basically called out a more accomplished more active fighter and said "fight me on my terms" which is dumb because he didn't have much to bring to the table for that particular negotiation.

Nothing wrong with calling it as you see it.
Fair play to Alex here.

The reason for that is because Khamzat punk'ed Pereira called him out and put him on the spot even said he would finish him without him landing a punch.

Pereira is proud guy he wants to give again but he doesn't wanna fight Chimaev he knows it is bad match up so he came up with some mambo-jambo stuff.. Chimaev kinda just let him go since he didn't want to fight him and after that he was starched by Izzy and he became Irrelevant and no more on his target as he doesn't hold the belt.

But Pereira was put on the spot by Chimaev and Poatan didn't rose up to the chellenge.

Pereira never wants to fight Chimaev he has conceded on before that he will never win in a bout against Khamzat which also killed whatever tension they had previously. Good luck with him on beating Jiri a Chimaev former training partner

A+ troll post, I mean really well done <Wink2>

How can anybody ever hate this dude?

Comes in 8 pounds overweight, jeopardizing an entire event, and having the gall to flip everyone off.
I mean, lovable fucking guy he is.
Don't forget after he starts taking heat for it he tried to say the UFC told him he didn't have to bother making the weight lol

Pereira knew khamzat would wreck him so he offered to fight him with no belt on the line because he had no confidence he would win at 185.

So obvious.

two clashing posts but it's easy to see which one is made with all the facts at hand

Bruno Silva would beat Khumzat, let alone Pereira
