The 1980s for me, because the economy was strong again, houses were still being made with quality materials instead of the cheap crap that most houses are made of today, and culturally the movies and music being made during that time period were top notch.
<{cruzshake}>I think the '80s were an absolutely terrible decade for both popular music and movies, though of course there was some great stuff (Prince, The Police, Men at Work, BTiLC, The Terminator, Karate Kid, etc.).

Pro Wrestling was at it's peak, Pop Punk and nu metal music was all the rage, the internet existed but it still hasn't completely find itself in everyone's pockets.
