What decade did Western Civilization peak?

Interesting. I’d like to here more about how their citizens have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms, protected rights to free speech, the right to freely assemble and protest, no state income tax and so on..

You know the free speech thing is a joke in the US in a lot of US states and College campuses I can get in trouble for saying something they dont like. Where have you been man? The first amendment died in like 2010. And most of the world let alone the definition of traditionalism doesnt mean free speech or the right for every moron to own a gun so I wouldnt tie those together.

But here is some things

Strict abortion laws
Right to self defense. You can get a shotgun or gas pistol easily. After that it gets hard unless you a hunter and had a gun for 3 years already.
Right to pension tied to rate of inflation
10% flat tax nation wide except if you are highest income %.
Right to assemble in designated areas
Their constitution also enshrines biblical values in it and protects the nations state founding people (Russians), Russian language, traditional relationships, marriage, culture and mentions God. It also bans opposition to these values thus protecting and enshrining in law a ban to anything opposing these values as listed in the constitution.

80's or 90's. Although personally, my peak was 2004-2014

Definitely the 80's.

Music and movies were the best ever.

Economy was great. Everyone was partying and doing coke.

We destroyed the Soviet union without violence.

Women were peak hotness, and cosmetic surgery wasn't very good nor prevalent.

Bullying was part of life and you had to learn to deal with it, rather than expecting the world to change for you.

Great decade for sports too, especially basketball.

The political divide was less severe. Fewer echo chambers.

Meth was not even a big problem yet. Homelessness barely exist outside of a few big cities.

So, basically nothing like Florida -or America from a protected rights and law status. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.

Sounds like you’d really like Russia tho, maybe you should move there if you’re not there already.

Well it is a traditionalist country with more right wing sane values. I don't how you think Florida laws are somehow as conservative they aren't and the 2nd amendment isn't protected everywhere depending on your views. In fact it is still hard to get a gun in many states or in NYC soooo I don't get this delusion

You will see in death mate how confused

What decade would you consider to be the most prosperous/peaceful?
The Industrial Revolution. From 1760 to 1860. The transition to new manufacturing processes in Great Britain, continental Europe, and the United States. Also, why are some countries (cultures) more powerful/wealthy than others?

80s early 90s. Western civilisations after is an abstract blob.

The start of the era of oil, steel, and railroad. Also, the great fortunes. The Gilded Age, from 1870 to 1900.

Somewhere between the late 80's and early 00's, imo. Trickle down economics was the beginning of the end, that's my uneducated opinion.

I've had this book for years, one of these days I may actually read it. What are your thoughts on it?

It is an excellent read.
How guns, germs, and steel really changed a civilization. Also, oil and railroad. The great fortunes (oil, railroad, and steel).
