And I disagree about the talent. Strikeforce literally brought guys that would win a belt. Werdum and you know who? DC. Pezao and Overeem also fought for the belt. The level was head to head if you ask me.

Buentello won the belt in 2007, SF didn't matter back then. When Overeem was the champ all these guys I listed were there and he fought 2 that were ranked in the top 10.

And like I said, it didn't affect Werdum at all in your ranking. He is #3. Even though he only has 1 more win against ranked fighters than Stipe. He has more losses than him and his best win was against Fedor in the apparentely inferior organization called Strikeforce that Overeem was champ of btw.

My point is that even by your own criteria, that you claim to have chosen to keep DC out of it, your ranking doesn't make sense. Putting Arlovski and Sylvia above him makes no sense.

Not to mention JDS beat Cain as well. So Cain only has one more win than him when facing each other in their primes. Not trying to knock Cain either but his 2nd best wins in his career were his 2 dominations of trt/roided Bigfoot which is no joke. Bigfoot was a beast! Other than that Cain had a few other solid wins. I don’t count a shot Big Nog and Lesnar as great wins. JDS beat Cain, Werdum(who was 1 win away from a title shot at the time), Stipe who had just entered his prime, Hunt who was on on the longest hw win streak at the time and one win away from title shot, barely past their primes in crocop and Mir, prime Lewis, prime Nelson, prime Carwin, prime Gonzaga, and several other solid wins including guys like Rothwell who JDS and Cain both beat easily. The only reason JDS has more losses than Cain is cuz Cain hardly ever fought.

Werdum popped after most of his achievements were already done, and honestly I forgot it happened. I didn't say there isn't an argument to be made for DC to be in the top 10, I just didn't put him there cause he doesn't have many fights at HW. If you put him in your top 10 I wouldn't disagree, relax.

DC has a great HW resume but I wonder how much him spending a good deal of his career at LHW affects anything? I also think he may have lost a lot of respect from the blatant eyepokes. I was always a fan of DC until he showed his true colors trying to take a man’s eye out. That’s fresh in peoples’ minds too when they think of DC. Just a couple thoughts.
