Playing Fall Guy when I free time. There is some bullshit involved but it’s one of the few multiplayer games I can tolerate. Even if I’m losing it can be incredibly amusing.

Think I’m rank 19 or something so pretty early on.

Fall guys is pretty fun, but I can help but lose hope in humanity a bit when I'm on the see-saw map and everyone is jumping all on one side and everyone's dying lol.

But it's a great pick up and play game if you have like 20 minutes or so.

Descenders

I can't find much fault for what it is. It's a downhill mountain bike...racing/trick thing, where you complete goals and unlock a bunch of cosmetic, and somewhat impactful upgrades along the way. It does some interesting things though. It's a bit of rogue-like, in that you get as far as you can on any given run, which includes going through multiple randomly generated tracks in an area, and completing some tasks to earn extra lives(when you mess up, it's a life gone), to eventually take on the big Boss jump at the end of an area. So essentially, you're just trying not to bail, to save lives for the final task, which usually requires a good couple of runs to nail, and then move onto the next area to do it all over again. How far can you get?

That said, it's not something that personally grabbed me. After you've spent some time in the first couple of areas, the jig is up. This is all it is. Repeating similar goals on short tracks, over and over again, to get just a little bit further each time and unlock some goodies. It's an original concept for a bicycle racing game. I'll give it that. Controls are fine, and the physics are good enough. It just got old real fast for me. If you like racing/trick games though, this one has something off the beaten path to offer. It's no "SSX", or even "Trials" for me, but I think there's something there that others might enjoy. Not bad in any way, just not really for me.

7/10

Just finished Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on PC. If you liked Castlevania Symphony of the Night and others like it, I recommend it. I finished it on normal and hard on new game+.

Now I am continuing to play Octopath Traveler which I really like. It was on hiatus for couple of months.

Man if you get behind on that see saw level you can really get fucked by people. They will hold it up on one side forcing you to back track to the other side. If you get ahead of everyone or at least in the top 10 you can cruise right through it.

Got the Batman Arkham pack for $15 on PS+. Still on the first one but its a lot of fun. Wanted to play a brand new series id never played.

I got confused as hell trying to figure out what to play first cause"Arkum asylum" came out after "Arkham City" but apparently its because its a remake of two previous PS3 games.

Just got fall guys and I feel like I'm a kid again. Feels like a old N64 game but Instead of 4 ppl we have 60.

Fall guys has been quick fun, I think it was the 2nd game I played there was a line of people who nearly finished first but hung out in front of the finish line grabbing people lol. I like the free for all games but the team ones can be frustrating.

Tried the Avengers beta, looks like it could be good for a certain player but to me it wasn't fun, ill pick up Tony Hawk instead as that demo was nice, brought back the memories.

Goddammit, "Final Fantasy VII" is on Game Pass.

Don't do it...

I doubt I'll be able to resist. It's been a good five years since the last run.

Arkham Asylum is the first one, then City

Anyone looking forward to this Kingpin remaster that 3D Realms is putting out?

I really liked the original when it came out. I'll probably check it out, just to play half way through and quit.

I've played thru FF 4,5,6,7 and Tactics. Should I play thru 8? I've tried before and both times I got to the same part on Disc 2 and quit

Got my brother and a bestie to play destiny 2 last night. First time playing an online game for them and i dont usually play online games. We played into the wee hours of the morning. Good times.

Which part?

Anyways, yeah I'd give it another shot. It took me a few times to come to truly appreciate it. Certainly the red headed stepchild of the PS1 era FF's, but it's not without it's charm. It's also a bit of a breath of fresh air if you're coming off of the previous three or four titles, as it does go out of it's way to be different from the more traditional FF formula.

Where you go to battle the other garden. I'm gonna give it another try

Just finished Prey (2017)

I bought this game probably two years ago and have tried to play about 5 times and kept getting stuck near the beginning having no clue what to do. (Even after watching walkthroughs somehow) Finally I got the hang of it but it is still really hard. Once you get going though its a pretty incredible game (although a pretty blatant half life rip off). I may even get the dlc.

Edit: Dlc is still $20 fuck that

I'm going through all the old games I bought but didn't really play. MGSV is next.

I enjoyed the gameplay in MGSV but there's like no story after the begging. It's weird because it starts off really interesting and then just kind of does nothing. Stealth is really great in that game though.

Its such a a strange game. Every mission seems to end with credits like you beat the whole game. The gameplay is awesome though and thats what counts.

Replayed RDR2 and couldnt believe how quickly I beat every mission and cleared everything in New Austin after just a few weeks. I'd been playing the Witcher 3 for months and still have tons of quests to complete.

Played a few rounds of Apex season 6 and im just bored with that game.

Sort of want to try Ghost of Tsushima but something about it just looks weird to me.
