I think there should be easy pathways to entry for immigrants who want to contribute to the nation. I think quotas based on what the immigrant brings to the table in regards to marketable skillset is reasonable.

What they fail to mention is that most have FINAL ORDERS of deportation, but the government wasn't enforcing them for years and sometimes decades. Instead, the government told them to check in every 6 months, a year, every 3 years, etc. Now the government is simply deciding no longer to give them a pass.

Others have been here for less than 2 years and filed for asylum. These can be expedited removal, which Obama literally used millions of times as well.
