Played Uboat for a couple hours tonight, made it out of my home port and hunted my first victim. 45 minutes of stalking and lining up my shot, just to have the torpedo miss. Holy shit that was frustrating.

Man was watching a Battle of the Atlantic documentary the other day and it made me want to reinstall Silent Hunter 3. Or buy UBoat

After 2+ years I finally hooked my PS4 up so my son could play the spiderman game I preordered way back then. As for me, I'm still on Assassin's creed odyssey. Contemplating picking up Grounded. Anyone got any hands on info on that one?

I've been playing PS4 Gundam Battle Operation 2 so much and put in PS3 MGS V TPP for the first time in a long time and the controller and controls felt so weird. For a bit, forgot the MGS controls. The PS3 controller felt weird and too small and loose.

MGSV still looks damn pretty on the PS3, all things considered. That FOX engine is magical. Other than some frame rates and loading times, I thought the PS3 version of MGSV, was almost impossibly good, and smooth to play.

GOT which is awesome and also gone back to GT Sport quite a bit. I got to say GT Sport feels like the best money Ive ever spent on a video game.. I bought it several years ago for $20 and it still gets QUALITY monthly updates like cars tracks events and gaming fixes and never once asked for another dime.

I got it for $20 during a sale like last month. I'm not some huge race car fan but I did enjoy it.

Its vastly improved since it first came out. The penalty system was game breaking before. Some dude could just ram into everyone and they would all get penalized. Its much better now.

Nice I haven't even gone online with it yet. Just got done doing all the driving training and started doing the beginner tracks after that.

Tried ToR. Could not get into it. Back to WoW. 9.0 hit the PTR today, so something new at least.

Been playing different games maxed out just to test my new pc. GTA: Online looks and runs great. Same with Fallout 76, Bannerlord and Assassin's Creed Origins.

Finally getting around to Mega Man 11. It's been such a long time since I've played a 2D platformer (probably one of the Mega Man X games), and I suck.

New DLC for it comes out tomorrow.

It's my new addiction, so much fun.

Undermine

Another "rogue-like/lite" dungeon crawler, but it's tight. If you've played anything at all in the genre, you get the gist. Take your character into the dungeons, kill some stuff, collect money, die, return to base, buy some skills, and head back down to do it all over again, in a randomly generated area. It's par for the course, but it's polished and fun to play. How much you play, will depend on how much you've already played these games before. It's very safe, but has that same addictive loop, where you're thinking "Just one more run". It keeps you going, but it does lose some luster, just because of the familiarity with the genre. The quirky, well written characters and humor offer up some surprises along the way, but it's nothing you haven't seen before.

It's worth a look, but if you've had your fill of the genre, it won't blow you away or anything. Fun time waster.

8/10

This week is patch week on FF14, it finishes off the Shadowbringers story and starts the path to the next expansion. Plus A Realm Reborn has had a bit of a trim plus mounts can now fly in the ARR zones which they couldn't before

Bus Simulator on PS4.. its fun and enjoyable, I'm liking it. Currently got over 40 routes done.

I may buy the DLC map extension

Started a new game of Wasteland 2 to get in the mindset for when Wasteland 3 comes out...

I spent an hour customizing my party’s look and specs last night, and the game already crashed on me twice in the first settlement I visited.

I’d forgotten how much of a mess this game is on PS4 and how often I would have to save to make progress.

Other than that, I’m still enjoying Super Mega Baseball 3 a lot.
