Everyone tells me its great, I was gonna pick it up on release but I feel itll be a PS plus title. So Ill wait and chip on the backlog.

I would recommend it for you as you seem to like action adventure games. Its very linear and doesn't have much in the way of exploration or replay value other than some collectibles to obtain. Still if you can get it on sale (or Game Pass like I did) it's worth a play. Good graphics, design, gameplay and sound/voice acting. It's essentially a Double A game posing as a Triple A title.

Wolf 2 is a super fun title, IMO; I remember some bad press (re: texturing, maybe) but I had a blast. If you find yourself wanting for more Nazi scalps or tests of stealth, I'd recommend only the Sergeant Silent Death DLC (it's pretty short, iirc, 1-2 hours) and not to spend your money on any of the others.

Appreciated. What I've seen of it gives me the impression of a game-length escort mission – how off-base am I there? That and underwater anything are surefire ways to irritate me, lol.

Next Friday can’t come soon enough, I feel like I’ve been waiting for Doom Eternal for an eternity (see what I did there?)

it’s the first game I’ve preordered since Diablo 2 twenty years ago.

Appreciated. What I've seen of it gives me the impression of a game-length escort mission – how off-base am I there? That and underwater anything are surefire ways to irritate me, lol.

It's an escort mission for best guesstimate about approx 75% of the game, but you don't even notice your little brother (Hugo, the kid in the clip I posted) is there. The pathfinding for the AI is excellent, this is not your grandpa's Resident Evil 4 escort style mission. You actually really need your brother at the end too.

No spoilers but your brother is sick at the beginning of the game. Has an infection called "the Prima Macula." You may ask him to hold or move to your position but you rarely use it. I only used it once in my entire play through. You get other temporary party members too but they are ancillary and tertiary to your main objective.

You are mostly stealth in the game too. You get a sling you may upgrade and a pouch for crafting ammo and supplies but if you get spotted by the inquisition you are effed.

I defeated a Stalnox last night in Breath of the Wild. Only had 4 hearts and a some pretty trash weapons but fighting nearly perfectly with the few fire and bomb arrows I had gave me enough of an edge to beat it. Took hours to get there though! I would be feeling great and get one shotted out of nowhere.

I hear it's one of the tougher bosses so beating it basically in the opening game makes me feel pretty good.

I'm sad. I scheduled my week around having pretty much a free day to play Nioh 2 on launch. Woke up already come to find out it comes out in 3 days

Been obsessed with Final Fantasy Dissidia Opera Omnia on my phone for like a month now. Turn based JRPG with all the Final Fantasy characters. Has a gacha system, but it is for weapons, not characters. Very F2P friendly. I normally hate phone games, but this has me hooked.

Need more phone games that draw gear, not characters.

Its amazing, I've been playing mostly PS4 this gen until I got Game Pass, barely need to buy new games now.

Sekiro is going ok. I managed to beat the mounted spearman second try which was only a fraction as troublesome as Lady Butterfly. Been killing some mini bosses as well with Seven Spear being the toughest and killing me about 15 times before i destroyed his face. I also went back to that annoying purple ninja at Hirata estate where our first fight ended in a stalemate as we both fell down the waterfall. I wanted a clean victory so after getting stomped a few times i managed to wreck him as well.

Next up was the Lone Shadow Longswordsman who you have to fight in a tiny room where the camera is the real enemy. He made me turn tail last time we fought but today i returned and snatched the life out of him.

Not sure who the next target will be. There's this headless dude with a purple flamey sword. Some huge samurai guarding a gate and some other freak surrounded by purple fire. I'm gonna rest for the evening and mediate on what i've learned.
