Picked up Ghost of Yotei. It was between this and Wuchang, but i'm getting a bit of "souls" fatigue so Yotei it is. I really like Tsushima so i'm looking forward to it.

Splitting time between Balders Gate 3 and Dead Rising 4.

BG3 is pretty stellar. Even got my son into it, and really his first big RPG and really glad he's enjoying it too.

I loved the first Dead Rising, thought 2 & 3 were really fun, but avoided 4 since it got shit on by the community. I never bothered reading any of the complaints, so pretty much went in blind.

I thought the opening was pretty great and combat felt good. As I got deeper into it, it definitely lacks a lot of the charm it's predecessors had. Dropping the timer I thought was nice at first, but it really helped it stand out from just some random zombie hack and slash.

Plan on finishing it, but definitely the weakest of the bunch.

Hades 2 has officially dug its claws into me. Been playing it exclusively since this past weekend.

Took Chronos down 2x and Typhon 2x. I believe it is far from over.

Been using and upgrading the twin blades.. aspect of Pan. There's also a boon from Zeus that allows you to aim your cast, which is super useful.
Between all of that I basically end up playing like the Rogue from Diablo IV.

Use distance attacks to cripple them get in close to do massive damage

Edit

There's a really cool easter egg if you pause the game during the Chronos fight.

Cool

Don't spoil it or I will cut you.

I vaguely remember a conversation praising immortals Fenyx Rising. Was it you?

Are you waiting for a sequel, like me?

I think so, I thought it was pretty great. Obvious clone of Breath of the Wild, but made some pretty key improvements where I felt BotW was lacking. Not saying it was the better game, just better in some areas.

I know there was a pretty major DLC that overhauled some things that I never got around to. Would love a full sequel.

Since I'm not in the right mindset for E33 I decided to give Returnal another shot because everyone is talking about it haha

Ps5 and I can’t seem to get into anything.

Anything similar to Max Payne or crime related? I tried Alan Wake 2 and it’s far too slow.

Thankfully I also played it but you should seriously consider using spoiler tags. There's a major spoiler in this post

Some of those developers moved to this team. They released Eternal Strands this year. Haven't played it but have it on the wish list. You can easily spot the similarities.

I'm already at around 85 hours into Arc Raiders so far. That has been consuming most of my gaming time atm. Throwing a little BF6 and Rocket League into the mix too.

What's so good about it?

It looks great. It plays very well. It's a polished, finished product with an addictive gameplay loop, outstanding enemy AI, fun player interactions that aren't always KOS like a lot of other games of this type. It's got the best sound design in gaming. Oh, and it only costs about thirty pounds.

After beating Yotei I can't find something to get into. Tried Fate Samurai since I know someone on this site was obsessed with it. Signed up for PS+ and put a good 7+ hours into it but I just can't anymore. It's not a bad game but just not quite good enough to keep going to with it.

Downloaded soul hackers 2 and some other games from PS+ to try so we will see how those games go.

Feel the same way about games right now and feeling touch of gaming ennui. Been bouncing around and haven't found anything to hook me.

I was locked in on an emulated EverQuest server and having a blast. They got sued and shut down and I was devastated. Nothing has really been able to pull me out of the funk since and have kind of bounced around.

Started playing Borderlands 4 and it just felt "meh". Balders Gate 3 was fun for a bit, but it was to heavy RPG coming off of EQ, so had to take a break. I did have some fun with the Dead Rising remaster, but there was a lot of nostalgia built in. Just finished Dead Rising 4 and super butt hurt. I finished what I thought was the 2nd to last case and the game ended abruptly. I thought I'd have to beat the mission in a special way to unlock the true ending. Looked it up and the true ending is part of a DLC. It was just on sale for like $1 and didn't pick it up. Read it's really short so not going to pay full price.

Think I'm ready to tackle the rest of BL3 now though.

Played V Rising for about 30m last night.

Wasn't feeling it, I'm sorry to say.

Traversal around the two maps I played on was awfully slow and something I'd file under escort-mission grade terrible.

There's a really nice vampire-worthy dash but is hamstrung by an almost 10s CD that just sucks the fun out of it. This is such an unnecessary developer thing I see time and time again. Let us bang, bro. Why so hard... I think a better title for this game would be Vampires in Wheelchairs, or V Rolling.

I've never played TLoU II and have it installed courtesy of Plus, so will try that this week in my post-Yotei search for a game here.

I'm still playing Gundam Battle Operation 2 on PS4 daily and it's still fun when there isn't a troll on the team, but I'm thinking I need to break away and get to my PS3, PS4, PS5 backlog particularly Dragon Quest XI, Gran Turismo 7, Spider-Man PS4.
