What about Conor McGregor fighting Max Holloway at 155?

Hence me saying it would be a very different fight meaning it would be a hard fight for Conor BUT his other options are much riskier to me. Diaz 3 ? MEh if you even get the guy to fight maybe its possible he could squeak out another decision.

Nate again is the secure option.
Always fight the same way.
Don’t present risk of TD,unless it is a trip from the cage wall.
Don’t put pressure standing up.

Hopelessly delusional.
LOL ok. Been a member here since 2007 and you're not the first fan boy dangling from a fighters pair of nuts.
I get the fact seeing your idol get carried by a 40 year old boxer and got dry humped like a pretty cell mate before choked out hurts...
When you have an opinion I am cool with it, but because you dont like mine... then its wrong? when you'd be eating your words if Max did end up smoking him when you know a fight is a fight.
Stop being an ignorant fan boy. When he beats somebody other than DENIS SIVER...a no camp Mendes, an overzealous Jose Aldo, a rank #7 WW Nate diaz (barely on his let me try again please) and a shopworn Eddie Alvarez who hasnt had a good win since RDA....maybe I will pay more attention to the hype.

We would only see it if Max won the first fight. Conor is to much of a bitch to give rematches to fighters he beat. But once he loses he bitches and whines till he gets to try and show he's the best ever.

I just dont think Nate fights again. Hes too difficult to deal with
Hes got money, dont need to fight, he talks as if he does but was offered 50 fights (according to Dana White) and always turns them down. Nate said himself he beat Conor twice and dont need to do it again.

McGregor needs a WIN and I think Conor vs Diaz 3 right now is risky,
I'll be rooting for Nate but I think McGregor has a better shot there than a Holloway rematch. Then again maybe it is riskier in the sense that a loss to Diaz closes the a trilogy and will hurt his stock more than an avengable loss to Max.

Well I dont see anybody else that gives him a good chance to win. Justin Gaethje? Lol be fun but would they do it. It be a win most likely for Conor.
He cant afford to lose again. that be 3 in a row...If counting Floyd. I think the top 3 LW now give him trouble. BIG trouble.

If Diaz will take the fight. Hes constantly asked about it and his answer is always the same. "I beat that (punk, bitch, dude) twice I dont need to do it again"

I have to disagree, I personally think Max is the most improved fighter in the UFC.
Conor hasnt improved at all. He has a left hand. Everything else he does looks the same as it did when he fought Mendes.
Conors performances havent impressed me since Aldo who didnt fight like Aldo for obvious reasons.
Conor lost to Nate in the first fight, in my opinion I thought the rematch was a draw many gave Diaz that win. Ultimately doesnt matter its a W for Conor. Eddie Alvarez has had wars and shop worn hes leaving the UFC because he cant compete with the top 5 and he lost to one in Dustin. Conor fights Floyd, makes promises he didnt come through with. IDT anyone expected him to. Then he comes back and is demolished by Khabib.

SO yeah I think MAX has many new tools since their first fight added to his game and the blue print to beat Conor is cut and dry. The guys gas tank hits EMPTY faster than any fighter Ive seen out of HW division. It just drops off a ledge after a round of constant pressure which Max is great at TODAY. Max may not win, but Conor looked like CRAP against Khabib, he was fighting to not lose rather than win.

In the end Conor has enough money to not care about training hard, motivation is hard when you got a 100 mil in the bank (or more) How much does he train from what I understand he is on the road almost 6 out of 7 days a week promoting his whisky.
I don't disagree his motivation might be wanning. Heck, I would probably not work as hard if I won the lotto as well :)

But I digress. My point for Max is that he has a lot of medical issues of Late plus he would be moving up for the first time.

It would not add much for Conor because Max is unranked. I mean how can a win over someone unranked put him up for a rematch for the belt?
I think Diaz is a less of a gamble. a good, solid name in Nate and more important. he is ranked (however unjustly so).
The fight might have been close, but it is something Conor can beat DIaz. he found the formula (move). Diaz is not good against someone who does not stand infront of him.
And Conor CAN win the first two rounds then just wing it like he did. He merely has to avoid Diaz taking him down.

Nate is just playing hard to get.

I don't think Max ever fights again honestly. Had to pull out of the Edgar fight earlier in the year with an injury, then tried stepping up to fight Khabib and had to pull on medical advice and then had a severe concussion and had to pull against Ortega. If he does fight Ortega at the end of the year how good will he really be? His body has been damaged all year long.... that has to show something.
It showed nothing
This is a great fight
