So this infamous settler Shimon Atria invades a village for 5 days in a row, destroying fences, harassing residents, pushing activists and forcefully introducing his flock of sheeps inside the village.

The army comes with a ridiculous amount of cars, and arrest the activist's and invaded local Palestinians homes. The third day they even protected settler Shimon Attia to stay the night inside the village.

I must admit, I feel very differently about the West Bank than I do about Gaza/Hamas. Its plain wrong. I avoided the west bank almost entirely in Israel,no interest. Not religious and I don't like the vibe - I noticed that seeing visibly religious Jews driving through Jerusalem was far, far more common than elsewhere in the country. I can fully imagine the stunts they pull, any religious fanatic is a crackpot to me.

Did you see the recent Louis Theroux documentary on it? Nobody paints a fairer picture of a situation than him and to say I came away from that documentary with a dim view on the settlers is putting it mildly.
