International "We need Greenland" - Trump repeats threat to annex land of NATO member, UK lapdog govt. opposes but refuses to say would be against international law

He’s far from the worst thing to have happened to this country. Just off the top of my head we’ve had a great depression, a civil war, slavery, and internment of Japanese citizens. Those are far worse than anything related to Trump. I bet you marched in a pink pussy hat in 2016.

I agree, he's far from the worst thing that's happened to America.

But is that the bar he needs to clear to get dickriders?

Y'all really fuck on the first date

Confront yes, usa military would wipe the floor, difference is ridiculous in ability

That being said it would basically end current world order, diplomatic relationships and china/russia would be laughing their asses off, eastern euro would be completely exposed
I wrote "and prosper" taking those actions. Considering we're in the lead in this current world order some more thought should be given to maintaining it rather than attempting to sieze more power and tipping the boat.

Pretty dumb considering if he just asked nicely Denmark and Greenland would likely agree to stationing more troops, increased military presence, allowing more mineral extraction, and whatever else he might want.

Speaking to reporters, the US president said "we need Greenland from the standpoint of national security".
UK
government refuses to confirm if seizing land from a fellow NATO member would be in breach of international law.

Aaaand this is why breaking up NATO (or at least spreading its funding) is a positive.

It'll allow Western Europe to grow some balls instead of being the US's bitch.

US already has a deal with Denmark that they can put what ever troops on Greenland-
During the cold war US had more than 5000 troops on Greenland.
Today when Trumps says its needed for national security there is approx 120 US soldiers stationed there.

And yes Greenland has also said that they want to cooperate and have deals.
They just dont want to be annexed or invaded. They want to go independent and become their own country.

Sure, but asking for something nicely is antithetical to Donald Trump's understanding of power in this world. He wants to take and absolutely hates having to ask. Furthermore, since he is a fundamentally transactional creature, i'm sure this whole scheme is being pushed internally by someone planning a giant grift of some kind (which Trump himself will profit from)

Trump wants to do as much damage and fuck up as much shit as possible before he dies, and put is name on as many things as possible. He probably wants Greenland so instead of Epstine island, he can have Epstine Country.

Dude is just a fucking moron, a loser human being lol. Hes been the butt of jokes for 40+ years for a reason, he's a scumbag.

"In the interview with CNN, Stephen Miller also questions whether Denmark should control Greenland.

- The question is, what right does Denmark have to control Greenland? What is the constitution of their territorial law?

In the interview, he repeats three times that the US should have Greenland"

What right does US have? Greenland has been Danish longer than US has been its own country.

Or they will become even bitchier bitches. One of the two, no middle ground

Those are historical events they weren’t self created by one person.

Trump has literally weakened democracy where it may never heal fully so that puts him as the worst thing which I stated among countless other topics like terrorism, disease outbreaks , weakened infrastructures, killed off intelligence agencies , helped sex trafficking..I could go on and on…

You are a beta male you’ve never been in a gym or even know what a boxing glove feels like on your hands so why are you talking to me about pink hats ? I’d take that hat pull it over your head ,bend you over and kick you in the ass and watch you fall over . 😂

Joint Statement on Greenland
Statement
by President Macron of France, Chancellor Merz of Germany, Prime Minister Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Tusk of Poland, Prime Minister Sánchez of Spain, Prime Minister Starmer of the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Frederiksen of Denmark on Greenland.

Arctic security remains a key priority for Europe and it is critical for international and transatlantic security. NATO has made clear that the Arctic region is a priority and European Allies are stepping up. We and many other Allies have increased our presence, activities and investments, to keep the Arctic safe and to deter adversaries. The Kingdom of Denmark – including Greenland – is part of NATO.Security in the Arctic must therefore be achieved collectively, in conjunction with NATO allies including the United States, by upholding the principles of the UN Charter, including sovereignty, territorial integrity and the inviolability of borders. These are universal principles, and we will not stop defending them. The United States is an essential partner in this endeavour, as a NATO ally and through the defence agreement between the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States of 1951.Greenland belongs to its people. It is for Denmark and Greenland, and them only, to decide on matters concerning Denmark and Greenland.

Colonisation of an already Colonised land.......

Can't we just ask the local inhabitants what they want???

Denmark did this years ago and since 1979 IIRC its in the danish law that Greenland is going independent.
What the Greenlander's want is independence.
this is not news...

The greenland homerule has also gone public that they do not want to be a part of the US.
