International "We need Greenland" - Trump repeats threat to annex land of NATO member, UK lapdog govt. opposes but refuses to say would be against international law

And why should it forcibly get it from its ally? Do this, and only "ally" on world stage you will have left is Israel. Is it worth getting Greenland at that cost?
Using force on your allies is a good way to not have any allies.
I'm not speaking to or advocating for Trump's methods. I'm highlighting the reality that Greenland is geopolitically strategic for America's Hemispheric control and that reality is indifferent to how you feel about Trump or his methods.

Having an alliance with Europe has also been strategically important for America.

he thinks he's on the team. he'll never be one of us.
Lmoa. You think you are on the team also. Its the great comfortable delusion of the masses.
The average american like yourself is 'on the team' in the same way that a hoe is on the team of the pimp Daddy.
You have no real rights and very little agency, but as long as you toe the line and are useful you will be tolerated by corporate America.

well then, case closed. no point in commenting any further cause reality is indifferent to all our comments here.

while you are "highlighting" the reality that Greenland is geopolitically strategic for Americas hemispheric control, rest of us are "highlighting" to you that that makes 0 sense considering US is allied with Denmark and has military base on Greenland.
Its not about geopolitics, its about Greenlands natural resources which US wants to hoard for itself. Trump is running the country like a mobster and doesn't care about trust USA has built up with is allies over decades.

The US already has a deal in place and can pretty much do what they want in regards to military build up in Greenland. If its so important why have they reduced their numbers there from over 5k to 200…?
Its a resource grab. Plain and simple. Just like Venezuela.

US just put this in twiter

Little Marco is getting his little rocks of now, no doubt.

This goes hand in had with my post earlier today in another where I said it's pretty clear to me Trump is just a puppet at this point and being told what to do by Miller, Rubio, and co.

I think it's the other way around. Trump signed more executive orders in the first year of his current term than in all of his first term, and about 80% of the number Obama signed in 8 years in office.

Where are all these orders coming from, do you suppose? I think we can be confident Trump didn't write them. It seems to me that at this point, he's just signing whatever is put in front of him by Miller, Rubio, Et al.

Once again, we have a base there and can build more bases if we just ask. If it was so fucking important, the base we have there would be stocked with way more personal than it is.
If it is so important, why have we been removing military from the base, from the high during the height of the cold war. This administration's actions are the total opposite of what they are saying.
IF we attack a NATO ally, that is some stupid ass shit. When did the Neo-Cons get back in charge?

Obviously he doesn't care what I think but he might care if European countries withdraw permission for US bases to be placed there.
if he makes a move on greenland it would obviously blow any relations with allies out the water, in which case i say fuckit and sell off US bonds, he only understands business so fuck up americas business..

"Its not even that green, so today it is with great pleasure to rename this new part of the United States Trumpland."

And that's pretty much his ambition regardless of some lie about security.

Let me try it again.
IF Greenland is so important, why does the base we have there manned with a skeleton crew. Neo-Con Don has had a whole year to send troops, planes, etc there if it was so important strategically. Why has Trump not done that, and instead of doing that, Trump is saying he should just steal it, because it's so important. Once again Trumps own actions conflict with what he is saying, which is pretty common for him and since his Elite buddies own the 4th Estate now, nobody pushes back on his obvious bullshit.
Instead of answering why more troops are not there now, I expect you to reply with a dank ass meme.

This sounds brutal to consumer-brained Americans, but the accuracy is exceptional. We are being kept stupid and compliant so we cannot mount real and significant resistance to the system itself. And every day we, as a whole, prove more willing to sacrifice rights for "security" and for placating other-ism, which is the key factor fascists need to seize power.

Trump was also talking about purchasing it in the beginning but now he's talking about using force. The methods are different, the conclusion isn't.

America wants Greenland. Period.
Seems like the US government wanted Greenland 70 to 150 years ago and tried to purchase it. They were turned down, but came to an agreement that worked for all sides until Trump came along.

Not sure saying "America wants Greenland" is really accurate with all things considered. Assuming that the US government and citizens are salivating over taking Greenland by force is a real leap. If you said "Trump wants Greenland for its natural resources" that might be accurate.
