Izzy showed alot of grit , willingness to die attitude in the face of humiliation (potentially going 0-4)and no fear of losing.

My hat off to this warrior.

I think it does show you the reality that Izzy's duller fights tended to be so because opponents were afraid of getting countered, certainly not due to a lack of finishing ability on his part although he was happy to pickup safe decisions.

Well what's he supposed to do take silly risks when he's already up 4 rounds?

Whittaker Vettori Yoel and cannonier all went into the 5th round knowing they had to make something happen and they all just did nothing. They took the moral victory of not getting KOd

Alex was down big-time in the 5th and pulled out every single stop to make something happen he put it all on the line. The last person to try that was gastelum and outside of alex, he's has the most success against isreal.

I'm not really blaming him although I think you could argue Izzy harmed his popularity a bit not taking a few more risks when he was well up, ultimately action and finishes do draw more fans in.

Its a mistake to look at those fights and say Izzy isnt a dangerous fighter as we obviously saw again tonight, chasing him down does carry a significant risk and besides Rob the first time around none of those other guys you mentioned were willing to take the risk, I think they probably deserve more blame for the fights being not that action packed as a result.

Alex was close to being sparked unconscious in the first fight. No surprise the 2nd fight Izzy destroyed him.
 
He will always be the king of cringe, but he proved to be a great fighter now. So hard to come back the way he did against his boogey man.
 
Can’t respect a man who’s already dodging the trilogy, mock the Indian culture and takes solace in teasing the child of someone who just got knocked out. I can understand the gay community getting behind Izzy but can’t for the life of me understand the rest. The guy is human trash.
 
He's still a bellend but to come back after being knocked out and then coming back and taking your belt back, it's hard not to respect that
