I get you guys got a tough job but help me understand; I got a yellow name, couldn't find out how, no biggie. You guys got a lot to deal with and the rulebook isnt super helpful in certain situations. But a pm explaining why would certainly make it easier to not do again.

Secondly I made a joke in this thread http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/disturbing-pic-of-mieshas-weight-cut.3291139/page-2 that got deleted and again, no explanation. I can fully understand if a mod felt it crossed line. But the same joke was made in other posts and they're still there. What specifically did I do wrong?

I'm far from perfect and I know you guys have a tricky job but you gotta let me know how I'm fouling up and when. Ty for any help.

  • No Fighter Bashing - Criticism is fine, but flaming is not. Please note that an unsubstantiated accusation of steroids and PEDs is fighter bashing. In regards to female fighters, posting inappropriate, sexual or graphic comments is considered trolling and fighter bashing.
Your post was a graphic sexual comment about a female fighter, calling her a "gangbangee", that's never been acceptable. We do our best to get to objectionable posts but it's difficult for a handful of moderators to read every single post from every single person. If you feel you have seen an offensive post that is in violation of the forum rules, please report it and we will deal with it accordingly.

As for your yellow card, you received two points on July 2nd for your graphic sexual post regarding Demi Lovato and nudity. Please refrain from graphic sexual posts in the future across the board. They're never acceptable on this forum.

I really don't wanna argue, im honestly jyst trying to learn but;

What's the difference between a joke saying "looks like a gangbangee" and simply posting "brazzers"? Aren't they both sexual jokes about the appearance of the situation?

And please help with the Demi thing can you quote what I posted in a pm and show me where I screwed up? I can't remember posting anything grossly out of the bounds of the thread.

Genuinely not trying to be a pain, just need clarity so I don't make the same mistake.
 
I'd like to know why a mod "dumped" my thread about Sumerian mythology of how God and Satan pertained to Enki and Enlil?

I attempted a thoughtful post to stimulate discussion with open-minded folk, but because of the premise of the thread it's immediately "dumped" by a moderator (meaning nobody can access it)?

Are such discussions not allowed? It's not like I posted something stupid crapping all over religion - I explained the original story of God and Satan as it was understood by the Sumerians - what is wrong with that?

It has now been moved out of "The Dump" and into the Wasteland by TeTe (as I PM'd her and asked this exact question) - she said she didn't understand why or who "dumped" the thread and suggested I ask here as to who did it and why.

I'd like an explanation as to why this was dumped almost immediately when the discussion, which was not abrasive in the least, was just getting started.

Are there ultra-religious toes that I'm not supposed to be stepping on, and anything questioning the Bible's origins is strictly off-limits?

Was it made in Mayberry? Religion threads made in Mayberry are generally moved to the Dump, it's the section that's intended for Religious topics.

So it's moved to a section that nobody can access? I'm not sure if you are being tongue-in-cheek here.

People talk about every topic under the sun in Mayberry, why is religious history off-limits? If I had posted it in the War Room would that have been better? How many threads in the War room are about Muslims, etc.? Would it have gotten dumped regardless?

Is it in the rules that all religious topics are off-limits at Sherdog?

It's not like the thread was bashing anyone.

It has nothing to do with who's being bashed or isn't. Religion, Conspiracy, and Political threads are too heated for Mayberry, which is supposed to house light hearted discussion.

The War Room is probably a better area. I can move it there, as the rules provide a bit more leniency in that section.

My thread enquiring over the medical and decompressive procedures available in repairing Santos' injury site saw deletion. I reckon it was because of some jokes made by members that were certain to derail the thread and make light of a grave situation.

Just wanted to apologise for the direction it took on but that it was not something I could have held control over and my intentions in its creation were earnest.

It's alright, I appreciate you coming here to support to say that. It's not your fault, sometimes innocent threads get out of hand.
