A thread honoring a dead musician isn't allowed??? How about removing the posts of the guys who started the flame war
 
Looks like your thread was deleted because you were attacking any and all people who didnt like death metal. Anyone who even simply stated they disliked it, were flamed.

Well..if they didn't come into my thread just to give their opinion on it sucking I wouldn't have needed to do that. So I guess them flaming me is alright? The thread was to honor a dead musician and instead people came in to say that the music sucked. Why weren't those posts removed but mine were?

There was no need for them to criticize the music when the thread was about honoring a musician that had passed away. They went off topic and started the flame war
 
Listen, im going to say this one time and be done. You posted a tribute thread and in the very end of you post you opened that whole thread up for alot of anything when you posted "rape the angels."

You took anything that was anti death metal as a personal attack (and believe me there was plenty of you flaming without being flamed first.) And showed you were rustled immediately. The best course of action was to delete the thread.

Im leaving it at that.
 
Dude, you need to chill out. It's not that serious. Posts were deleted from both sides, not just from you.

Laughing at someone else being killed was also in poor taste. Even with that no one has received dubs in either of those two threads. However, it did need to be deleted because it kept escalating even after several posts were deleted and after two Mods gave warnings to you and others to calm down. If one side was on dubs but the other wasn't then I would understand the frustration. That's not what happened here.

A thread being moved doesn't mean that the thread itself is breaking any rules, The Wasteland is just the appropriate forum for certain kinds of threads. In this case it was most likely because there have been a few threads on the subject already.
 
I made a thread in the OT asking why offshoot talk is being discouraged in that subforum via facebook messenger instead of just making a rule about it and it appears to have been deleted. I would like to know why

Seems pretty straightforward except for the omission of disseminating details of private correspondence without permission from the other party which I'm assuming is still against the rules

Yellow cards bring in a few restrictions. The cards will expire on July 14th, at around 4pm eastern time.
 
Who thinks he can get away with deleting perfectly good topics. It's happening more frequently. I've had two threads deleted in the war room. The topic was political in nature and racial. We can't discuss race in the war room as adults? Meanwhile there's troll posts/threads all over that have remained untouched.

This problem didn't happen before on this forum until I disclosed that I am non white. Immediately after, threads start disappearing.

I'm making a separate thread so the admins can be warned. You might want to be a little more strict in the future with vetting your prospective moderators.

Either the person is biased and is deleting threads because they don't fit into his ideology, or he's a racist. Like I said, problem didn't start until I disclosed that I was non white - yet there are troll threads left and right in there remained open.

Silencing discussions about race is part of the problem in this country, although, I'm guessing the mod is some Island dweller, they're by far the biggest cult members on this planet when it comes to silencing free speech.

Unfortunately no. There's a problem with this software where reporting a PM causes a massive glitch. Only solution is to screenshot the PM, and then include the url of the screenshot when reporting the members profile.
