Just did a quick readthrough of the rules posted in the Mayberry and, at this point, I'm still not entirely sure why it was deleted outside of moderator prerogative, which I completely respect.
It could *possibly* be #3:
"3. Postwhoring/empty posting. Posting +1, empty quotes, too long/didn't read, rickson by armbar, "huge if true," pic-whoring, etc. will result in cards and postcount reduction, and if it's more than a few, or a pattern, it will result in a ban."
Honestly though, I thought it was a *heck* of a prank or, as Tumblr has been claiming, perhaps it was real? I am honestly curious, did #pissforequality really happen, or was it an elaborate hoax?
"8. Posting a thread in the wrong forum, "dubs" may be given out depending on the context of the situation. Please refrain from making Bellator vs UFC threads in the UFC forum, those threads go in the Wasteland forum. Also, post Bellator threads in the Worldwide forum."
Perhaps it was in the wrong forum?
"9. Profanity in thread titles. Don't use profanity (Fuck, shit, etc.) in thread titles as these may appear on the front page under the Forum Threads section of Sherdog's main page."
Is "piss" considered profanity when it's actually part of the hastag the thread is directly referencing?
"7. Trolling (posting ridiculous/racist/disturbing/pornographic comments, images or links.)"
Maybe it was considered trolling - but then, trolling who? It was reposting what I think was a masterful prank?
"- Pictures/gifs/vids that leave nothing to the imagination i.e. close up crotch shots/camel toe/graphic poses"
Maybe those pictures fit into the "nothing to the imagination" category - though, if so, half the avatars in the Mayberry are infraction worthy.
I entirely respect moderator prerogative, but at this point, I really don't know what rule that post was deleted on. Thanks for the response Coolhand.
