Was prime Henry Cejudo at the same DJ level?

Cejudo either beat the guys who beat DJ, or he beat the guys DJ ran away from. And he beat DJ when they were both at their peaks. How is this even a question?

Of course the popular opinion is no. But people love to hate these days. And, if you're like that, Henry makes it easy. I'm a huge Cejudo fan, but he retired in his prime and when he came back, I thought he looked like dog $h1t. (Against Aljo) I'm not gonna say he lost to DJ, in the rematch, like most people, 'cause he literally won in the last 20 seconds, when he backed DJ up against the fence. But, to his credit, he won the rematch after rolling his ankle, so people don't give him the credit he deserves, 'cause it was a close fight.

Like he says, he's a better competitor than fighter. So that pressure at the end was very smart. But what could've been is one of the most frustrating questions in mma for me. He retired near the end of his career. So, he could've had... Up to 2 more years of dominance. But I do believe, within those two years, he could've beaten Aljo and probably everybody else he would've fought.

Not, imo. And I don’t think he beat him in the rematch, either.

Cejudo went on to win the vacant BW title, and cherry picked a defence.

DJ is FLW GOAT.

And never popped for peds.

Prime for prime, in a head to head match up, they were both pretty close, but if you put both guys vs. The entire top 15 of 125lbs, I think DJ would win more than Cejudo would.

I think both would win every all

MM won the second fight in my eyes.
Cejudo is still a beast, though.

Nah I don't think so. Cejudo got a little lucky in his fight. I think a lot of things turned out well for him. He knocked out a half dead TJ.

Sherdog users keep saying that Cejudo wasn't at the same level but no one knows exactly in which areas Henry is very far from DM <NFLDez1>

Fight IQ, submission grappling and the clinch. Cejudo won a questionable decision against a slightly past prime MM.

Wasn't the second fight very close? I thought DJ could've won that tbh
This. I believe DJ won, but probably knew that a decision would go to Henry. I haven't watched it in awhile but I remember thinking it was pretty obviously a win for DJ, but wasn't the least surprised when Henry got the nod.
