Was Ngannou 2021 best version of any HW EVER? Who do you favor over him?

Yeah he still does not beat a younger 245lb Stipe Miocic. The one he beat was 15 pounds lighter, several years older @ 39 and lost his head movement and foot speed, and obviously his wrestling strength. A younger mid 2010's Stipe dominates him even more.

I believe a young prime JDS at his peak full of confidence would have beaten him. Very fast explosive counter puncher with a chin of steel and heart and cardio for days.

Prime Werdum could have lured him in and subbed him.

Cain a little too chinny and hittable for my taste. DC matches up better vs Ngannou imo.

Of course, Ngannou can donkey kong KO anybody at any given moment though.

Ngannou controlled the second fight with Stipe, and brutally finished him.

At no point did he nearly KO himself.

LOL, what grappling exchanges? Perhaps you forgot the entire fight. All Francis did was sprawl on one TD from Stipe, reverse to his back, took Stipe down for a few seconds and landed some punches. Then he attempted another TD was stopped and went back to striking. The whole grappling sequence lasted 20 seconds.

You guys give way too much credit for this.
