Is Jon Jones fastest and quickest HW ever?

Fastest at eye-poking

Dammit....you did it first

Jones looked slow as fuck against geriatric Stipe.

No, he didn't. He looked slow in certain movements, fast in others.

It's those little details that you pick up on when you've been watching the sport for a long time.

Gane is smooth but not necessarily fast. Tom is fast but not necessarily smooth. Aspinall is decidedly faster than Jones, Gane, not sure, he definitely looks lazy during his feeling out process and that's where Jon got him. Ngannou is obviously faster than Jones. There are many faster HW in the past as well. This must be a troll thread or ts hasn't watched many fights

no he is slow
at LHW he is kinda slow to average too

maybe my eyes are getting tricked seeing him slow
but in reality hes fast?
well i dont know

Gane is not that good dude, get over it. He got very lucky with favorable matchups against fat, sloppy brawlers who don’t grapple and his luck almost ran out against Tuivasa.

Most of the top guys have no problem with Gane. Pavlovich, Blaydes, Aspinall, Almedia.. i think there’s a lot of guys who can beat him. N’Gannou on one knee outgrappled him.

Jon is kind of slow at HW. That Stipe fight looked like it was in slow motion. He’s average probably, at this point in his career
have you even watched nganou vs gane sir?
gane should have been the HW champ if he didnt went for the submission

he blasted nganou and took down nganou
he also outclinched nganou

does that mean nganou is trash?
i mean even if you didnt really watched that fight
i can show you the stats of that fight

hmm :)

Fastest HW ever? Dafuq? Jones looked slow vs Stipe. He isn't even a true HW.

If you want to see a real athletic HW and the next breed of HWs, look no further than Aspinall. The guy moves like a MW with lightning fast hands.

N’Gannou was a guy who was heavily, heavily criticized for having no grappling. He blew his knee out and was still able to outgrapple Gane to a victory. Francis N’Gannou of all people…

Enough said. What Jones did to him is just the icing on the cake. He’s incapable of grappling and will get smashed by any HW with even halfway decent grappling. Blaydes, Almedia, Aspinall, Pavlovich..

Lmao my account is way older than yours and I’ve been watching mma since 95, kid. Jones was slow as fuck but looked like goku fighting a 43 year old retired firefighter. Go back to tiktok.

He looked fast when he was running from Uncle Stipes punches

In terms of striking he has coasted against everyone, including Ngannou.

The other thing you pick up on is that speed is not Jones's game. He fights at the speed he needs to to win. Sometimes he fights at the speed he needs to to dominate. He performs individual actions at the speed he needs to for them to be effective. Unlike a lot of fighters, he doesn't have a strongly preferred pace beyond never fighting at a speed that gasses himself out.

Jones fought Stipe with just enough speed to do serious damage and ensure Stipe did no real damage of his own, which was an entirely smart and appropriate speed for him to fight at.
