I am at the college libary and this girl sits right next to me, looks wise she is not bad and then she starts small talk in regards to what course Im taking and what have you. So here I am, enjoying a conversation and like the fact that her nose is not in her cell phone like other chicks. But then she asks me, "Do you have a Job?" I kind of was like wtf!?? But I answered with a yes and she said "very good and do you make good money??" Man I got so angry for some reason and I just said "Excuse me but I have to finish my essay" i don't know, maybe I was overreacting but damn that pissed me off big time when she asked me about money without even asking for my first name in the first place. With that being said, was it bad that a question like that bothered or is it normal to ask ppl questions about money/job as a form of conversation? I ask because I know have a bit of a distorted perception of things + I wasen't as social as I am trying to be so Im not sure if my reaction was over the top or valid?
