Warlord Project: A minor update
Keeping to the mantra of "big things are made up of small things" I've started tackling the Lucius conversion. I'm going to start at the bottom and work my way up, developing the design language as I go and honing my modeling technique. So by the time I get to the top I should have all the kinks ironed out. And that'll be a necessity because the top part of the torso is positively gigantic. And it will have to mate into the existing parts which, by itself, is no easy task.
Here's my latest addition, the ankle pistons:
The next thing will be the shin armor, which is a big piece with multiple mating surfaces to contend with. It's also one of the more prominent designs on the old epic model I'll be using for inspiration so getting it right (as an up-scaled part that doesn't look absurd at the larger scale) isn't going to be easy.
