Malcador was badass. I don't even think any of the Primarchs besides Magnus could have held the throne down like he did besides the Emperor.

I got my base pretty much completed and was taking some proper pictures with grey-card white-balance and multiple lights. It's amazing what a difference it makes. So here it is, the first time any of you have seen it with the actual colors. Left is what it looks like in person, right is what it looks like when the camera is set on fully automatic and blows everything out with the flash.

This having the Lion wake up would be pretty badass.

You want to talk about someone curb stomping humanity's foes, the Lion with primaris at his command would be a force to reckon with.

Couple new reveals. The Slaanesh critter [LINK] is interesting, it's a good mix of established design and new ideas. The ork [LINK]...looks too much like a kitbash. And not in a good way (it is orks after all). He also looks weirdly smooth, like his pants have just come off the press.

So my best friend sent me some pictures the other day of some Nightlords that he painted. I’m not well versed in this stuff but I thought he did a pretty good job on them so I thought I’d share them here.

That's actually really nicely done. OSL (Object Source Lighting) like that isn't easy to do well and it's done better here than most attempts I've seen. A lot of people just blast the object and everything around it with an airbrush and call it a day. Here it's done the right way with correct faces being illuminated and specular objects (metals) showing reflections farther away than diffuse objects (cloth). Dude did a damn good job on this.
