War Room OT Discussion v4

It was a five-round fight. I mean, I think Jones won two of the first three rounds (and four total), but I can see giving it to Gus 2-1 if you ignore the last two rounds.
That was the fight that taught me the most about the underdog effect on my judgment. I swore after watching those first few rounds that Gus was really ahead, and that the fight was razor close. When I rewatched it, that turned into a pretty obvious Jones victory. I'm certain that I felt Gus was winning only because I expected Jones to crush him. I've kept that effect in mind ever since when I think an underdog is doing well.

For me it was the first Edgar-Penn fight. First time I saw I thought Frankie won every round, then I rewatched it and thought BJ won the first three.

I think that one would still be talked about as a really bad decision if Frankie hadn't won the rematch and the squash match so convincingly. That whole night in Abu Dhabi was fucked up too, with the Silva nonsense, the "special rules" fight (WORK) between Hughes and Renzo...oof.

True, without whipping BJ in that 2nd fight we might all remember Edgar's reign differently. Its sort of the opposite with Benson-Edgar. I never saw the 2nd fight but apparently it was very close and it seems to give some people the impression the first one was too when it was a clear win for Benson and I say that as a Frankie fan and mild Benson hater.

Gus beat Jones
Frankie smashed BJ in the second fight
Frankie beat Benson in the second fight 100%

lol what the fuck are you even talking about? I guess in your drunken stupor, you didn't see where I called it "unbelievably stupid."

That means that it's stupid enough that it's hard to believe people are actually doing that.

And you seem to agree that it was mostly choreographed. So really, you should have zero problem with my post. You just reflexively went "unga bunga I see librul."

If I said that nobody should burn your house down, you'd run to grab your gas can and a lighter.

I'm not convinced you're any smarter than these gun play idiots.

Do you even understand the meaning of the words in your first sentence? I quoted it FFS, do you realize that you can't pretend you didn't type it now?

I told you (several times, in 2016), that you would become a broken, sniveling liberal on November 8th, 2016. I know I'm a demi-god in comparison to you, but I really didn't expect to fully break you this thoroughly through my condemnation.

I can't tell if you hate me or worship me. My presence alone appears to cause what little mental facility you have left to fall to the wayside. It's an honor, really. I know it disappoints you, but I have to be clear that, as one of your heroes, I do not support sexual assault like the others you worship.

I hate to break this to you, but I'm not really sure who you are. I can't distinguish you from the other rage cases, and I won't remember this convo. If you showed up here tomorrow being reasonable, or being far left, I probably wouldn't notice. I couldn't pick you out of a lineup of your own posts.

My stalker pretends he doesn't know me. Cutsies <45>

A fight like Gus and Jones there is no winner. It is purely opinion and chance. Fights that close should be ruled as draws. There should be more draws in general. One person should not get 100% and the other person 0% in such a close fight. Gus only shaded half his tattoo after that fight. I think that is accurate.

Want to hear a mental breakdown as it happens? These guys were playing Uno, the Video Game, for like 4-5 hours and you can hear Geoff break in his laugh:

A 5 hour Uno game? Even Khalid Sheikh Muhammad couldn't handle that.

Geoff's laugh is
1.) Fucking infectious/could cure cancer

2.) Shows he got to that "I just, do not care anymore" level

The whole game:

Just under 3 hours... so I embellished a bit.

^Only good thing about Trump getting elected^

Fucking love this gif.

I think Stipe has a good style for him. And some other HWs could be a problem. But generally I agree that he's by far the best fighter we've seen.

Why do you think Stipe has a good style for him? I think he takes Stipe with ease.

Match up wise, I think Dos Santos, Ngannou, and Cain would be tougher to, or more dangerous for, him than Stipe. And Anthony Johnson might be more dangerous to him than any of them.

For me it was the first Edgar-Penn fight. First time I saw I thought Frankie won every round, then I rewatched it and thought BJ won the first three.

Yuck. I had BJ 49-47 in that fight and was fucking shocked when he lost.

I also hate Trump but he's produced many quality memes so far. I always say that I miss the 2016 campaign, back when we could enjoy the shit show while still being able to rest easy knowing that Obama was still POTUS.

At the time I was really rooting for UFC (MMA) to succeed in other markets and the Abu Dhabi show had a ton of hype behind it, I ended up feeling really bad for the people who paid to watch it and because if it succeeded maybe we could have had a bunch of rich Arab motherfuckers having events

I haven't rewatched Penn-Edgar since it happened but I remember the decision not being popular and it was pretty boring anyways. And of course Silva's "fight"

Condit/Brown is happening. Oh hell yes. What a perfect retirement fight for both. We were robbed of that one back when it was supposed to go down.

Hey guys I'm thinking of using this video to submit to the Highlarious Comedy Festival in Seattle. I'm sure some of you have heard these jokes before but does it look like a good performance?

One of my biggest pet peeves: when somebody thought of something before I did.

I was just reading about Plato and right and lefthandedness. He thought it was a defection. He thought one arm was not being raised properly or whatever. It was a product of environment. And that is his philosophy in a nutshell. Symmetry and beauty over empirical observation. He starts top down with that dogma that beauty is truth. So he basically says to be weak in one arm is to be imbalanced. That symmetry again. Anyway, I had thought of that before and thought of doing it. I should have no weaknesses. My left arm should be as strong as my right. Every part of my body must be equally strong. Balance. I even thought of walking in different directions. People tend to walk to the left. I mean look at how stores are set up. They are made to go with the herd. That is how humans travel. So I will walk the perimeter of the store opposite as everyone else. I would also do walking backwards. Walking backwards does actually have benefits. Anyway, I never did any of these things I just thought it was a cool concept and maybe something to strive for. But Plato is wrong.

Bodybuilding is Platonic too.
