I love the justification of combining them: that it was a day to celebrate “defenders of causes.”
i went to a DoD HS in NoVa so we just had MLK Jr day off

i was at my friends house, dad was a Marine but lived off post so went to a public HS, and i saw the calendar on the fridge

I legit thought LeeJacksonKing Day was some massive troll job, surely they wouldn't celebrate it on the same day?

TBF, 2000 was the last year it was a combined day, they still celebrate LeeJackson Day just not the same day as MLK Jr

and people were surprised the governor once had blackface hahahah

I did a hipster thing.

I bought a shaving brush, shave soap, a safety razor, a shaving cup, and a stand for everything.

And I fucking love that I did.

I feel you, i bought 'beard wash' for the first time ever last week

I've always had like a George Michael in the 80s five o clock shadow after getting out the military, or to be more accurate b/c of my hairline a Stathamesque beard

but I've been letting it go an extra week between trims b/c my giantess gf likes the facial hair

I do the beard balm/oil thing and have for awhile ever since I grew on out fully. It cuts down on the itch so I'm willing to deal with it.

EDIT:
The company I use right now is "The Beard Struggle". A lot of their marketing is stupid "we're vikings cause we have beards" bullshit but the scent on at least the one balm of theirs I have is awesome and they have an unscented oil/balm as well.

wait, so people are douches for merely liking a post?

despite the fact they could merely think it's funny or humorous?

hahahahhah what

Wouldn't be caught dead in the place

Its not bad but its way overpriced. Whenever I buy Starbucks coffee I enjoy it but at the same time I also feel ripped off because its usually not good enough to justify the price.

On a side note I find it weird how common it is to suggest cutting out buying coffee as a money saving tip. Do people who actually like coffee and habitually drink it seriously buy it everyday instead of making it on their own? I can understand someone grabbing a cup to wake themselves up on a bad day but if you actually like it enough to drink it everyday you should honestly get a coffee machine and make it on your own 9/10. I buy coffee out when I want to try some funky flavor but if I just want a cup for my morning caffeine I am brewing it myself.
i just bought my GF an espresso machine for Xmas for this exact reason
I live in the cuts, so we don't even have a Starbucks in my city (it's being built as we speak) but two mom and pop cafes. They're pretty good, but it still adds up if you constantly go to them

so i bought her the locally sourced hipster Joshua Tree Coffee Company espresso beans and i won't lie, it's on point
like perhaps the best coffee I've ever had

Is there no thread on impeachment? Did a search and nothing came up?

I thought the same thing lol. Sometimes I like posts just because the person who wrote it I agree with or I think they made a good statement. But other times I like posts because I thought the comment was funny, or even if I thought they were so stupid that they gave me a laugh. I liked a lot of WDA post back when he was around because I thought he was such a terrible poster I enjoyed just how garbage he was. I couldn't imagine judging anything at all by post liking.

Good for you bud. I did a homosexual thing. I bought expensive skin care products from a department store.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So some guy on Fox Business just reported on Twitter that Obama is "increasingly anxious" about Bernie Sanders winning the presidency and is considering a public statement against Sanders soon. It's making its way around the neoliberal blogosphere.

I personally don't buy it and have more respect for Obama than that. But, if he did speak up and dead-hand the primary, what do we think the consequences would be?

All I can think of is that scene from The League where Sofia learns that Ruxin's dead wife story is a lie and he named it after Kevin and Jenny's espresso machine they never use.

And shoulda got her this:

"Hi I'm Evan, black Evan.. wait wut?"

Next paycheck I'm buying their cold brew set up, a big like portable carafe so I can make one and take it to work for coffee at work and leave one at home for my morning drive, and like 5lbs of their CAF coffee.

I can't do skin care stuff in department stores. The smell is over-whelming and gives me an instant headache.

For the mentally ill, a lot of things can offend them or set them off.

So I finally got around to begrudgingly watching the remake of Jacob's Ladder.

Holy shit. WTF. The original Jacob's Ladder in 1990 with Tim Robbins is one of my very favorite movies of all-time. The remake is really, really bad.

Weird how in a year in which several horror remakes are actually better than the originals (Suspiria, Pet Sematary, arguably Child's Play), the one remake for which the original is actually good is really bad. @LogicalInsanity @A.C.

It would not shock me, but I wouldn’t expect an overt shot against Bernie, he’ll probably just come out passive aggressively against Sanders by begrudgingly offering his endorsement and time to support Biden and have his surrogates in the party and media do the negging. I expect to see him in SC and NV soon and often.

Consequences? He might be able to stop Sanders’ momentum should he win IA and NH, and that could be the difference.

Does nobody find it odd that there is no thread on impeachment?
