Logged into a fitness forum I use, and the first ad that popped up was something like, "Elizabeth Warren wants to know what issues most impact you. Vote in the poll!". This WR has corrupted my reading habits.

You're repeating that made-up stat. But good point that Susan Sarandon doesn't like her. I'm sure you consistently base your understanding of how public figures behave privately on whether Sarandon is a fan.

The LEO point is just about credibility. Imagine a right-winger with a similar reputation--say, Limbaugh--had some yoga instructors saying, "don't believe the stories. He took our class and he was a nightmare. I said, 'Hi, Mr. Limbaugh. Welcome to the class,' and he responded, 'you're not high-born. You've no right to speak my name or look in my direction!'" That's how I think sane people are going to regard the WSJ guy's story.
