War Room Lounge v97: Jesus Christ, you're even pedantic with foreplay.

Starbucks CEO announced today that they're introducing a plan to fight climate change.

Maybe they should worry about not making shit coffee before doing anything else.

I've never understood the hate for Starbucks' quality of coffee. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, and I'm sure it's not as good as high end stuff, but it's much better than most cheap drip coffee peddled at most places of business. I'd love for the coffee at my office to be as good as Starbucks. Instead it's legitimately too gross to drink at all.

I had a pretty good day and walked into this. Most battle royale themed lounge thread yet. Lots of unexpected chair shots and tables.

Oh, you want some of this, too?

1) I've never heard that saying. Guess it didn’t make it out to Hawaii yet

2) I’m sure politicians admit their crimes to their accomplices as well. Doesn’t mean much.
Even from the lawyer end you get a lot of people who try to bullshit. Like, my job is to defend you. Don't make me do it blindfolded. (I've only really had this be an issue twice, both pro bono clients)

Definitely. But you're still part of the circle of life and stuff, technically.
We're all a part of the circlejerk of life

Don't get me wrong, some blends of theirs are better than a lot of other stuff. But it's definitely not worth the hype or price.

I feel you on the office coffee though, I'd take it over the trash that I've come across before at work. Oddly enough, they used to have Starbucks in the cafe at work and decided one day to get rid of it and go to some odd brand on tap. It's okay I guess.

Sorry to hear we're losing you to Reddit, too.
Wouldn't be caught dead in the place

Its not bad but its way overpriced. Whenever I buy Starbucks coffee I enjoy it but at the same time I also feel ripped off because its usually not good enough to justify the price.

On a side note I find it weird how common it is to suggest cutting out buying coffee as a money saving tip. Do people who actually like coffee and habitually drink it seriously buy it everyday instead of making it on their own? I can understand someone grabbing a cup to wake themselves up on a bad day but if you actually like it enough to drink it everyday you should honestly get a coffee machine and make it on your own 9/10. I buy coffee out when I want to try some funky flavor but if I just want a cup for my morning caffeine I am brewing it myself.

My reaction to this is basically Lucille Bluth's reaction to eating at Klimpy's

Leddit is bleeding sherdog dry.

I make it at home 90 percent of the time. I have regular coffee maker, french press and a bean grinder.

No Keurig though, those things make shit tier coffee.

I really hate the way people talk on Reddit. It's barely English and everybody sounds like a kid toucher.
