OK. But the ethics, what the HOF should do, and how it should affect his standing as a player are three separate issues. If the argument is about whether Barry Bonds was a good guy overall or justified in using PEDs, I'm with you. Seems like a jerk, clearly tried to cheat. Fair. Still easy choice for the HOF IMO and in the running for GOAT.

Meh. I don't see why they would be the same thing--lots of worse people than Bonds in the HOF and considered great players. And I don't see why you'd think there's any rationalizing going on.

Yes it was cheating. I didn’t say it was commendable.

I can’t stand Jon Jones but he’s going to be in the hall of fame because he’s the best. And because the UFC is scummy as hell.

But at least now MLB cracked down unlike the NFL and NBA who just turn a blind eye.

Seems like "Jewish" would be a better term. "I'm not a full Jew, but, yeah, I'm kind of Jewish."

It may have actually gotten worse here now that I think about it. Every year the MLK thread is somewhat full of trash, but this year there's not even really a discussion, it's not worth the effort. White supremacy is really grinding down everything. You can't even acknowledge that the timing of the VA gun rally is explicitly racist.
