Public employees in general in the Court system if they don't wear a robe and have a gavel are paid shit.
I make $44k a year. People in private firms doing less than I do? Like $60k.
I'm only familiar with the Canadian side. I know that bail court lawyers (legal aid) can definitely make over $100k. I mean, the court officers make near $90k to start I think. Strange considering one job requires highschool and the other an under grad and post grad.
