I'm only gathering pieces of what's going on in the Bolivian coup. The Bolivia thread is sort of becoming a mess, so I thought I'd ask here: what's the story behind Morales's fourth term? Their constitution has term limits, but their high courts allowed him to run again. What's was the court's justification, or what was the context behind that decision?
If possible, can you try to frame it in familiar terms, like what would happen if a US president ran for a third term and the supreme court allowed it despite being contrary to the constitution.
