I'm saying no excellent paper should sacrifice its editorial integrity to such an extent that it puts trash like the Covington High story or this n-word story on its front page given the 1000s of more important stories that deserve that placement.

I'm not arguing for government regulation of the media or whatever you're suggesting.

I don't think it's a different argument.

The function of a news organization in a capitalist society is to make money.

In order to do that they need to report on stories of relevant interest. You may not like what other people find interesting, but it doesn't mean they're doing a bad job by reporting what people want to read or listen to.

They've treated this presidency like a fire sale. They're not planning on a functional future for either the party or the country.

I've SEEN people use old oil filters to do it. Making a suppressor is honestly pretty damn simple when you see what real ones from like SilencerCo and DeadAir look like taken apart, you just need basically two fucking cylinders, the inner one with a bunch of holes to create baffles. The concept is the same almost as a car muffler.

On the real though, my grandfather in the fucking 1950s apparently bought a barrel then just built a gun from scratch in the basement, made a suppressor with an oil filter... shot it 4 times at the range then broke it apart with the oxycetelene torch and threw it away just to prove he could.

I was thinking the next system, not the next star. And in terms of UFOs, they're likely systems away not in the same one because we could potentially detect radio waves or whatever if they were that close and advanced.

Even still, 5 light-years might as well be 2 million. I think they're both distances we won't be traversing any time soon if ever.

I have an 80% Polymer80 kit that I haven't done shit with yet.

I've seen the horror stories though of people fucking AR 80% lowers because they didn't have the right tools to mill it out.

So those aren't odds then. Like the "+4" for Trump means that he's the favorite, and then all the other polls for +number mean Biden was the lead on those polls? I'm so used to sports that when I see +7 Biden I think of it meaning that he's the underdog lol.

EDIT: Wait a minute, so if that is the case, then the last two polls are significantly different than the others. With Biden +1 on Emerson and then Trump +4 on Rasmussen. Biden was +double digits in a few of those older polls from August and earlier September. So would that mean that this "impeachment" stuff is actually helping Trump?? Since it's his highest momentum on any of those dates. :eek:
