Not going to happen, he was a very strong thorn in the side for the left here. The mods even admitted, he had been reported on mass too much, they had to ban him for hurting too many peoples feelings. I will concede he should not have gone after mods though, that was not a smart move.

tbh, that incident was way overblown.

here's what really happened. he thought a certain mod was gay, (misinterpreted a comment) and when that mod confronted him Rip apologized for the confusion and dropped it.

This certain Mod would come into threads Rip was posting in and bait him with "still waiting for proof that I'm gay" even thought RIp dropped it a long time ago.

Here's what I know, Rip apologized to that Mod and it should have been dropped there and then.

At a certain point you're just not welcome here at all.
Also the higher up the chain (mods, admin, Crave) you escalate issues, the lower your chances of returning.

Rip did a lot of fucked up shit and they were way too lenient on him for years, IMO. The worst thing I remember he did that a lot of lesser posters would be permabanned for was posting a video depicting aborted fetuses.

Final straw was repeatedly calling multiple sherdog mods gay despite multiple warnings to stop.

What's funny about RIP is that we now know for a fact that he was trolling, that his backstory was fake, and that he's affluent and likely a liberal. He was in effect making fun of these right-wing morons by doing a dim-witted parody of them....and they were still so enamored by that parody that they want him back.
