If one were to say... try and save money to go to Europe to see it and their family initially came from the area outside Prague and Bucharest..... COULD they get by not knowing say, German and only knowing English?

Also, say... said person's mother had always expressed interest in doing one of those Viking River Cruises would the one from Berlin to Prague be a decent one to select?

And what do you mean by legit? Nobody is likely to beat Trump in primary but they can damage him as badly as Buchanan hurt HW Bush and Kennedy hurt Carter.

Trump will obviously tweet at them but the guy also loves campaigning and he hates Sanford. He might even revel in taking him on on the debate stage.

In my experience heavily tourist areas in Europe you are fine just knowing English, yes the waiter from Spain shamed me for only knowing 5 grammatical wrong phases, but everywhere else I wS fine

German only helps you in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy and the Benelux anyway. English would be totally fine (and where it is not, all other tourists would have the same issue).

I know no German, only French and English and a horrible 5 Spanish phrases and I was fine.

Thanks to both of you.

Want to do this for my folks as a thank you for helping me move and supporting me and shit. ALSO, because my dad has shown zero interest in his side of the family's heritage but my mom has and I feel like he should go to Europe once before he dies on something other than business.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'm kinda over seafood, being in maine for the past week.

I have to say, Maine is probably one of the cleanest states I've been to.

And @Seano, your people here are hella nice. Like almost too nice...like the family from "Get Out." Lol.

I don't know about you, but running from the police sounds like a death warrant to me. He was threatening to moonwalk past the cops and choke them out from behind.
 
lol Yang apparently workshopped a "yo' commander-in-chief so fat..." 5 minute set at the Iowa State fair. Said it would be "hilarious" to watch Trump run a mile (true), and that he could defeat him in any mental or physical contest imaginable, except possibly a competition to weigh down a hot air balloon or something.

I always tell people visiting the United States that you have to be very aware of the police and understand they are manly alpha male badasses, but also giant, skittish pussies.

As long as you keep that personality balance in mind, you can rest assured that you probably won't be shot to death.

Yes, you can navigate that area of the world in English only. I was in Bratislava recently and not speaking Slovak was not a problem.
 
Wow. Just found out a coworker of mine was on one of the last planes out of Hong Kong. All flights got canceled less than an hour after his took off.

Not all but I definitely would think that personality type was gravitate towards a career as a police officer. They should find better ways to weed them out.
 


There's no fucking way that manlet is over like 5'8". He's listed as 5'10". Dude next to him is Kliff Kingsbury who is 6'3".....
