Damn, not too long ago I was reminiscing about the good ol' days and I started listening to some 3 Doors Down. Then I realized I hadn't heard much from them in a long time so I looked them up and I saw that the lead singer was sick. But he said he was feeling better and hoped to be doing better soon.

This is a bummer.

Saw his video announcing his cancer and how he's still fighting. Not my favorite band but will never turn down/switch off the radio.

R.I.P. Saw them live and they were great. Had good appeal since kids could listen to them (not complicated or vulgar lyrics) but it also still appealed to the suburban dad rock crowd.

"Kryptonite" and Here "Without You" were massive songs in the early 2000s. They had some good tunes and I am sad to hear that he died so young to such a cruel disease. He may be gone but his music will live on.

I know a lot of people got sick of Kryptonite and it was definitely over played, but it's tough to argue that's not great song. I still like it today, though it will get stuck in your head like a MF.

Loved Loser and Duck and Run as well, but didn't really follow them after that. RIP.
